becky i think you should be a bit more patient and do what makes you happy . Dont put yourself in a position of misery take you own advice becky that you gave koori i think it was earlier

You aren't committing yourself to anything by taking on temporary work. You don't need to give any notice; when you've had enough, just tell them you're done and that's it. As soon as you find something better, you can be straight out of there.

So it's probably worth giving it a go, just for a little while. Nobody's going to turn you down for a better job because you chose a shitty temp job over being unemployed. As long as you still have time to search for something more stimulating, it's probably better to grit your teeth and put up with the temp job for a bit, if only to get a little money saved.

Feeling slightly better today, went out the house for the first time since Saturday although it was only for a drive I didn't mix with anyone.

Gonna spend the afternoon looking for a job.

Ok you two, I will do that. I should do that. And what you say Alex about not committing myself sounds good, because from the induction yesterday the job sounds bloody awful, it wouldn't be as bad if it involved some movement of the legs.

But I am feeling disgusted with myself today... because I woke up at 9am, and was meant to be at the job centre at 9am... to see some agency about a temporary job in a warehouse. The job paid more than the factory one, and it had better hours. I am disgusted mostly because they will probably be a bit funny with me over it (job centre) I mean. I left a message on the agencies number at 9, saying I'd decided night work wasn't for me (cos I couldn't think of anything else to say).


I should of gone.

I'm mad at myself. I am a reliable person, and I hate letting people down. Ok I wasn't really letting them down, cos there'd of been loads of other people going to be set on too. But I still feel that way.


So now I hope the other agency (PMP, what a stupid name) rings back before I have to sign on next Wednesday. They didn't say when they'd ring... I mean... it could be weeks.... they don't give a noodle... so it could be weeks... then if it is weeks, I'll just have to keep applying for more jobs in the meantime. I really don't like signing on, it makes you feel crap.
