i spend christmas alone so i dont have this issue. i dont put my cards up on the off chance someone does come round , as i only get 3.

i don't get any Xmas cards (execpt family) but then again i don't ever send any either so it's to be expected really

i dont get many cards, certainly not enough to put up anyway, i find christmas a difficult time, i just always think that everyone else is having such a good time and everyone is with their family, and there i am, alone pretty much, i dunno its just a funny time, it wasnt like this when i was a kid, i used to enjoy it very much but now im an adult things have changed so much and i see it in a different way.

I always get loads of cards from work people, but never send them

This will be my first Christmas living alone, so I'm wondering if I should recognise it in my apartment or not. There would be no visitors, so putting a small tree up would only be for my benefit....and if I'm honest, I doubt I'd feel full of festive spirit sat looking at the tree on my own
