lol I've never had good results with the remember me box. When I was being constantly logged out and checking that box I was never remembered! yet these days I've never checked the box and am (mostly) logged in. Randomness seems to prevail.

I've also had issues logging in as an admin - at one point I could only do this via explorer not chrome. It seems to have rectified itself though I still get odd days where the computer says no. God only knows...

Yeah, very strange goings on here, what with random 'read' posts still showing as 'unread' thing, too.

If you get the strongest decaff filter coffee you can find and a French press, its honestly only marginally less convenient and much less noticeable than a 'true' instant.

I get the Nescafe Azera decaff and I really like it.

https://www.nescafe.com/gb/our-coffe...ericano-decaff

They are often half price so worth shopping around for and buying a few tins at a time.

Has anyone done a Netflix watch party? do you have to use a third party app or is there something built into the software that you can use on a console or smart tv.

Anyone know anything about washing machines? This is undoubtedly a dimwit question but....

I'm looking to get a new one. I have smartcare rewards so can get a discount on select washing machines which are split into freestanding and integrated. Integrated all look like the ones inside a cupboard so with a cupboard door and possibly on a plinth. The freestanding are shown as well just sat on there own in a space.

I want one that just goes in a space/slot under a worktop and slips in between cupboards. Not actually inside a cupboard as such. Basically the normal.

So what are you supposed to pick? built in/integrated? or does it not matter as long as the dimensions fit?

God when did they start differentiating washing machines?!! Last time I bought one it was a case of just picking one!!

^^ I agree with Nanuq about choosing a freestanding washing machine that can easily fit beneath a work surface.

Years ago I had a new kitchen fitted and the washing machine came integrated so it could fit into a tight place with a cupboard door fixed on the front. On the plus side, the kitchen looked tidy and streamlined with the machine hidden out of view but at the time (perhaps it's different now?) there were few machines to choose from, and it also had a much smaller drum capacity despite being more expensive to buy, install and replace. Also it used to vibrate so violently that the units on either side would shake causing the door to fall off.

Since then I've only ever had freestanding as I personally think they are far superior.

^^/^ Thanks both

That makes sense, though it wasn't very clear online!

Weirdly on the smart rewards website there's scores of integrated ones and only 2 freestanding!

^ It was a very long time ago when I had an integrated machine so they are probably so much better now. The one I had was an extremely basic model, in fact it didn't even seem to have a name like 'Hoover' or 'Bosch' or whatever.

I'll shut up now because I really don't have a clue about washing machines as you can probably tell

Has anyone ever washed sofa cushions - the actual cushions rather than the covers, I'm contemplating doing this and my plan is to just stick them in the bath with some washing powder so just wondering if this is a thing that is possible, I'm such am amateur at being an actual grown up with stuff like this.

^^They would take forever to dry and end up smelling musty. If set on doing it, wait until the weather is really really warm then you can dry them outside.

Don't suppose anyone knows how to get stuck bath plugs out of the bath? I've got one that looks like a 'pop up one' only it never ever had the pop up action, you have to just manually grasp it with your fingernails. It is however properly stuck!
Gonna have to manually bail the bathwater out and see if that helps me grasp it and maybe helps with the pressure that might be holding it in place.

^ ohh no. Is it one of the metal ones that you push down?

have you got a flat screwdriver? Can you sort of wedge/ it up with that?

Be carefully though. Maybe a spatula would be safer.

This what YouTube says:

Then some other dude takes pipes apart...then pushes it up from under...no one wants to be doing that lol.

In theory it's a metal one that you just push down, but mine doesn't have any kind of spring (or if there was it's long gone, lol). I just have had to take it in and out (like completely out and sat on the side of the bath) pulling it up with my fingernails.

Like his idea of a suction cup! if I'm still stuck tomorrow I might have to go on a hunt for one!
I'll give a screwdriver a go but I think its possibly too wedged in for that. Definitely not taking pipes apart that's for sure!!

Oh what a pain in the bumsicle.

lolol

No not yet I spent so long at the sanctuary today that by the time I left I only had 30 mins to get to the shops. When I got to the largest village nr me the traffic was nose to tail so I thought better of it. Have tomorrow free though so will go on the hunt for a suction cup/thing/whatever. I've tried a knife, nail scissors and a metal skewer but nout will budge it.

Yes, I noticed that earlier when I was on my laptop, the eyeroll one was blinking on and off.

I'm on my phone now and they seem normal

There are statistical averages about how much the average person earns or how many children the average person has but other than that I think people are all slightly different even in small ways.

How did you get on?

I wonder if you put all the taps on in your house excluding the bath and flushed the toilet if any pressure build up would make the plug hole pop up.

But it did work! (Ta biscuits!) Im still having to use it (it's permantly stuck on the plug at the min) but will have to get a good old fasioned plug with a chain me thinks (as they should be! )
