It's one of my favourite horror films. I think it's bloody incredible. There's no shitty jump scares like with most modern horror movies. It relies on atmosphere and suggestion instead.

You remind me of the babe
What babe? babe with the power
What power? power of voodoo
Who do? you do
Do what? remind me of the babe

Bowie was never better!

I'm off to clean the spare bedroom. The dog had a rampage in there when she heard a clap of thunder whilst i was out at work (she don't do loud sounds)

That reminds me, I really need to start ticking off some of the IMDB top 250, I think I'll make it my New Year's resolution for 2015 to watch them all, I could have a tick chart on my wall! Yes, I'm already making NY's resolutions

I ploughed my way through the top 250 over about a year. I still need to watch some of them though. The movies were so great that I could remember all of the directors and writers for every movie. In school people used to quiz me by listing all the movies one by one, and I had to name the director and writer, and I got almost all of them right
What a sad bastard I am

^ Ha I don't think Shawshank should be no.1. It is an incredible film, but there's lots of better movies.

Ah yes, Schindler's List is a difficult watch, but I've seen it many a time.

^^ Well that's the thing, I don't know how I'll do it, I guess I could start from the bottom up and in theory they should get better and better!

And yeah, there are some films that I find too sad or traumatising to watch again, not sure I could watch Schindler's List again, Up's a sad film, though I've seen it a few times now.

Titanic is a pretty sad film, and I'm not ashamed to say it!

The film I always cry at is Phone Booth which I think many people will find ridiculous.

^ The girl in red is one of the saddest moments in SL surely.

^ Phone Booth is incredible! It was the confession scene that made me cry. So very touching.

Now I'm trying to think of the movies I've cried at. There's not many to be honest.

^ Just some of these that I've been meaning to watch for aaaaaagges but I've never got round to watching them, like I still haven't seen Inception lol. Though there's one or 2 on there that I'm a little apprehensive of watching like Requiem for a Dream film that you mentioned (have a look at some of the plot keywords for that film, oh my ) and a Clockwork Orange which is a really surreal film, but there are some crackers on there, but I'm not sure I've seen even 40 of them, I think I'd seen something like 35 last I looked. How many have you seen, miss chocolate biscuits?

It's a pretty violent film. Well, it's an incredibly violent film, and it doesn't really hold back on it either. Kubrick received death threats because of it if I remember correctly. I'm pretty sure it got banned in England at one point as well.

His eyes were actually scratched by the lid locks during filming and he had to go to hospital. I love that film though.
