Default Stuff not right

Ever since the last bit of maintenance (or whatever happened the other week), icons, smilies, avatars etc. haven't been displaying properly, more than half show text instead. Is it just me? Mood disappeared too.

Oh yeah, everyone's moods have disappeared. That feature's a bit naff though, so... good? haha

My signature has gone all funny but I've been told to keep it haha
Some punctuation has gone all funny as well.

Budget cuts I'm afraid.

They've even swapped the McVities Rich Tea biscuits in the mods canteen for Tesco's own brand.

I noticed there's a new verifying thing that pops up just before the forum loads (I assume to stop bots), wondering if it's because of that as I use a VPN.

Looks like this

^ all the smilies on the options list show up on my device (not using vpn).

Do they show up in people's posts for you? Here is a selection of the ones that aren't showing up on your list:

Headbang
Thumb up
Cat fight

A few people's avatars don't show and have a little question mark in a box. That's been going on for a while.

I can't change my avatar, which is annoying me cos I'm feeling a bit exposed having my nipples out for all to see (says the guy who's regularly posted topless selfies on here).

Am I the only one who can't change their avatar? Is this some conspiracy to keep my sexy pecs on display?

^ Do you mean your avatar or your profile picture? (I can neither confirm nor deny that there's a conspiracy to keep your pecs on display....)

Any smilies not showing up in the list don't appear in posts either. I have found switching VPN server helps, it probably depends how much dodgy traffic has come from the server I'm using. The one I'm using now only one icon doesn't show.

My avatar. It says "Upload of file failed". And then text pops up saying "Unfortunately you are not allowed to make changes to you're avatar as it's the cure for our depression. So put up, shut up, and get your tits out for the mod."
