pigeon detectives - everybody wants me
wow. this is what i would call the archetypal shit indie single. anyone with me on this?
everything about this song is so bland - its all utterly pointless. all the music sounds completely moronic, i just can't hear it without thinking about the recording engineer wanting to slip off and blow his brains out. its the musical equivalent of having to listen to a long speech (circa 30-35mins) made by a lobotomised man. music like this makes me so sad and angry  the guitar melody lines in particular make me want to drop the guitarist in dip, like in roger rabbit. so sick of this fucking world

i heard this song last week and i thought it was a bit repetitive. Alot of indie bands are like that now but some tone deaf people still buy their records so i don't blame them for making more songs like this.
Guitar music in the UK is going through a bit of a s**t patch that past few yrs. I can remember the original indie era of the 90's and brit pop, those were the days lol. |

most (not all) indie bands sound the same to me now,the real cool indie bands were in the times of the stone roses.
pigeon detectives sounds like a programme the bbc would make for day time t.v

Personally I think The Feeling are the worst in this new so called indie. Absolutely utterly s**** and ultra repetitive. Or am I thinking of Scouting for girls... I dunno, exactly the same ****.
