A subconscious bias, that if you see something competent about a person then you assume everything else is competent. But if you see something incompetent, or a weakness, everything else is seen as incompetent. I thought that was interesting. So if you don’t go 100% to an interview, that small weakness and everything else is seen as poor. Which is wrong, but it’s ‘subconscious bias’. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halo_effect
