It varies. Some people do it to cause trouble without it coming back to their main identity. It doesn't usually work, though; the mods are wise to that sort of nonsense.

More legitimate reasons might include using it to add an extra layer of anonymity to more personal posts that they don't want people to know are from the same person as their main account. Once someone has got to know people a bit, they might prefer their new on-line friends didn't know about some of their more difficult personal problems, but they might still want to discuss them with other people that will understand.

Sometimes people create sock-puppet accounts to back themselves up in arguments. It can be a bit obvious when someone's doing that, though.

There are all kinds of reasons, really, some good, some not so good. It's not something I've ever felt the need to do, though.

No, they can use other accounts to post anything they want as long as it complies with the rules.

Well it's always been like that. Anyway, I don't have to worry about crap like that anymore.

Personally, I wouldn't be keen as it would be extra work for the mods, and I don't know that people wanting anonymity would be comfortable telling the us. Plus, if it ain't broke, why fix it?

^ Disappointment Did you store them in the freezer, or in the ice compartment of the fridge? They only keep for a few days in the ice compartment.

If one has a specific vitamin deficiency will a multivitamin be ok to deal with that, or will the amount of the lacking vitamin be too little in a multivitamin? I have no clue about this stuff at all.

It depends what vitamin They tend to have ridiculous numbers like 900% of the RDA for certain things, but only 25% for others. Basically, it depends.

^Ah right, I didn't even see the rda thing on the bottle wot I have ere, my lazy brain sees a load of numbers on the side and doesn't want to bother with that shit.

Thanks again, dude. This one I have should be OK, it has 114% of the one I need.

Why do people buy one vitamin when multivitamins have the lot? Mugs. They should just get multivitamins and cut out the bits they don't want if they are that fussy.

Certain vitamins have certain uses at certain times. My dad has a lot of health issues (mainly allergy related, but that doesn't stop him eating what he's allergic to...), and whenever he's feeling particularly rough he'll dose up on a shedload of vitamin C. It seems to help him, so who am i to argue

What's the legal situation with absinthe in England?

I thought it was prohibited, because of the wormwood or something? but apparently you can buy bottles of the stuff, some of which have pretty ferocious proofs, pretty easily online. Is this absinthe altered or is it the real deal?

this bout of super-soft skin is proving quite tenacious. i have been trying to keep it at bay with regular kebabs and several bars a day of that cheap smartprice chocolate. have been bathing in trans-fats, and have applied sebum directly to my nose and chin, to try to encourage a few blackheads to take hold. also i have been poking hairs back into my epidermis using a USB microscope and a surgical grade pin. all this has been to no avail so far, and my skin persists in being achingly smooth. tonight i touched my cheek by accident and almost fainted as the full extent of the softness flooded my mind. i had to say to my client that it wasn't them, but would they mind if i gave them a double refund and a repeat appointment tomorrow? they put their clothes back on but they weren't happy.

all night at the docks i was terrified that someone would brush up against me and touch my face. if word gets out about this...

has anyone got any tips? how can i save myself from this awful curse?

I was only messing, well, sort of. But if you don't want to argue with your dad then maybe I should neither will I .
