I've had my 360 die twice (!), both times Microsoft fixed it within two weeks for free. Obviously it's not ideal that the hardware is so unreliable, but their customer support system is (in my experience) very good.

I'm getting back into FPS games on the PS3. Resistance is a quality game, could have got Call of Duty 3 but i'm glad I picked Resistance now. Also got my first Blu-Ray movie.

I'm playing Crackdown at the moment , pretty awesome game .

Other then that I'll be playing Forza Motorsport 2 this Friday really really looking forward to it.

Has anyone tried the Dirt demo ?

Dirt in my opinion is deffinately the best looking Racing game this Gen

, i'll deffinately be getting it day one.

The Darkness looks really good, I've heard the name get mentioned but never seen it before.

At the moment I'm playing Shadow The Hedgehog, it get's slated everywhere but I think it's a really fun game,

and Resi Evil 4, which is the opposite for me, everyone says it's absolutley brilliant yet I'm starting to find it boring now, there doesn't seem to be enough action going on, most of the time I'm just walking from room to room solving a couple of puzzles here and there and sometimes picking up items.

I think Res. Evil 4 gets better the further into the game you get, I wasn't so keen on the start levels in the village and castle parts, but it picks up speed later on (that's what I thought anyway

).

I actually kind of missed the creepiness and old fashioned zombies of the earlier games though.

Good game apart from the lack of save options on checkpoints, and the time between checkpoints is very long, can get tedious

I actually enjoyed the villages, I liked the atmosphere and there were always plenty of enemies to shoot.

It's the castle bit that I'm on now and it's this that I'm finding to be boring.

Even though I played Resident Evil 4 on the GameCube, I decided to pick up the Wii version anyway. It's still one of my all time favourites, and I'm not usually into those types of games.

The Wii is supposed to be a bit more powerful than the GC, but to be honest from looking at screenshots on the net I've never really noticed any difference. That's why I asked becuase I was just curious.

Well I have a gamecube and a wii. I certainly notice the difference between the two. I'm used to playing the x box 360 so now looking at gamecube and ps2 games look really bad to me, but wii games do not have this effect. Games like Zelda look quite impressive.

I don't know if i would go for The Darkness to be honest mate, and aparently FEAR is better on the 360 (which i have). I'm quite annoyed at the many shoddy re-releases of certain 360 games that seem to be appearing on PS3.

My game of the year is going to be Devil May Cry 4, that just likes baaaaaaaaaaaad... !

the bioshock gameplay demo on youtube looks ace, but i get the feeling it's a game i'd get frustrated with pretty soon and kind of give up on as i have done with so many games. and i don't have a 360, boo

I just bought Silent Hill (the original for PS1), but I didn't know you need a PS1 memory card to play it on the PS2, so I had to buy one of them too

I want to get Tomb Raider Anniversary, but I always wait to get a cheap 2nd hand copy on ebay since I'm a tightwad.

System Shock 2 was one of the greatest games ever made. Bioshock is the unofficial sequel. I really cant wait. Also ive seen PC Gamer gave it 95% which isnt too shabby
