Hello *nervous* newbie
In recent days have acknowledged my need for support, that I have got as far as I can with self-care and lifestyle management and I need something more. I started to fall back on 'old ways of coping' which are not health-promoting.
So I found this site and feel quite nervous, 'cos I get to be 'real' here, with people who really, really get what I am talking about. My intention would be to be as honest and open as I can when posting, to open up and receive support, and also be of support to others. Though right now I feel very lost and lacking in any kind of wisdom. Grateful to be here. Experiencing chronic anxiety for the past two years, with depression flare-ups, some disordered eating, though that mostly dormant. Havent been able to work/travel, socialising is v limited. Somedays I just want to stay home but generally motivate myself to exercise most days. Self-care: clean diet, exercise, time in nature, spiritual practice and study, home management. Thanks guys |
