I just thought I'd try having a more ladylike avatar for a while. I also think that Lily Munster is very pretty.

My avatar is Tina Turner's 1984 "comeback" album Private Dancer - one of my favourite album covers for various reasons.

Mine is a place holder from when I joined up, just the eyes from an art piece I made. O.O
Need a new one, but I don't know what to put up...

Thanks!
Yeah I think it does to. I might keep it, but the art piece is of a woman so it could mis-lead people... (Gets 10 private messages from creepy perv people, ). I'm not sure if you can even tell though, but they do look like feminine eyes.

I like the variation of avatars on here, and it sure beats most forums where people have the old 45 degree angled, cheesy photos of themselves, or ones where they just got out of the shower.

I guess alot of people are like me in not wanting people to see you, if you don't know them well, etc.

Mine's Ethan Hawke from one of my fave films which is of course, Gattaca.

I just like the idea of being born disadvantaged but making something of your life, despite all the efforts of others to stop you. Helps if you look like Ethan Hawke of course

Well, I've changed it yet again. It's thee Laura Palmer from David Lynch's tv series: Twin Peaks, where my username also came from.

Mine is Louise Brooks, a silent (mostly) film actress - I think she's beautiful and it's a beautiful image of her. I've read a lot about her and by her also, and she was a very intelligent, perceptive and erudite woman. So it's basically a girlcrush

Pain and suffering. Torment and frustration. A window to my broken soul.

Mine is ... of course ... a superfly.

The name was originally a reference to my profession (I'm a biologist studying flies). The fact that there's a blackspoitation movie with the same title is just a fortunate coincidence.

I did originally call myself simply fly in the chat, but someone complained that nickname was too much like another nick in the chat and it was all too confusing. So I changed mine to superfly.

'Pretty fly (for a white guy)' is exactly what I am not
