Well a couple of years ago when I started back at my old workplace there were 2 new till girls who I thought about asking out. One was a i would guess size 8 slim/athletic blonde and is very pretty and the other is a brunette who, at the time I considered 'average' looking and was quite curvy, maybe a size 12ish. I'm not particularly fussed on looks usually but size 8 to 14 and intelligent were must haves in my book.

Obviously I immediately started looking at the blonde lass (seriously she could be a model) but the brunette introduced herself and got chatting to me straight away to ease me back into the job a bit. It only took a couple of weeks to realise that although the blonde is a nice lass really, she's a bit of a stereotypical airhead blonde that I have nothing in common with but I've finally asked the brunette out purely because of her personality and we just seem to have no trouble at all talking to each other, hence our hour long conversations recently that could have kept going had we not had work to go back to after lunch!

So yea, looks wise I don't mind so much but the personality is key for me. They must be smart, funny, fairly quiet, non-confrontational (my ex didn't half have a temper sometimes, hence why she is my ex!) and must be understanding of other people's feelings and problems. (the lass I've just asked out knows about my anxiety problems already and she thinks that I'm a sweet guy for being so open about it and finally plucking up the courage to ask her out. ) I'll try and get to see her tomorrow if I can for a little while but we've still yet to go on the crucial first date which is taking a lot of planning due to our hectic jobs!

Looks wise usually more attracted to brunettes esp. mediterranean type women. Nice eyes and normal build and ideally not too small cos i'm 6ft 1!.
Personality wise they have to be fairly intelligent and easy going. Someone who's not to into themselves and too girly. Great if they are into sports and quite active and above all else a great sense of humour who can take a joke and is not too serious all the time as we would'nt really get on if she was'nt lol.

this is very much a lie while giving an excuse not to answer the question technique.

if you were able to quickly think of it on the spot yeah in might work, but what if you were not friends and it was like a work acquittance or something. you couldn't use that excuse.

if someone asks it to your face you've maybe got like a couple of seconds or something to think of something to say and say it before your silence says it all...

for this reason when put on the spot i think most people are going to lie and say something positive even though this may not be their opinion.



i remember once my nan went to the hairdressers and asked me if her hair looked nice. i didn't like it and thought it looked worse!, ...but there was no way i was going to tell her no or even try and beat around the bush and give a clever answer, she's too sharp ... would likely call me on my bs and act offended. i just nodded and said yeah

I meant that it may be a throwback for me to find fat men attractive because in say, caveman days if a man was bigger he would obviuosly be gettig a good amount of food and therefore be able to provide for me and my offspring. Have you heard of that tribe somewhere who adore fatness and make their children get fat, as fat = wealth and fertility to them?

theres always a way around it, e.g. "i'm not answering that!!"

as for thinking of stuff on the spot...absolutely...its easy for me to pump out 'a good thing to say' now but IRL my most common response would pretty much always start with "ermmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......."

thats why i'm quite bitter towards bullshitting blaggers. i wish i had that skill. they get further in life than they deserve to. GRRRR. i'm an honest person, but only because i dont have the skill to be a good liar.

strongly disagree with your theory. on two grounds.

1-- if he's fat he's not a good hunter anymore is he? that'd be pretty bad planning.

2-- if he's fat its probably because hes eating all the food. he'd probably eat your offspring too.
