i take it your watching season 3? i thought the same during the start of it but it really all does flow into something special.

my only problem with it though is the actor who played Francis Dollarhyde, not his acting because that was brilliant but his physique.
Dollarhyde is supposed to be powerful physically and it adds a new fear factor to the character, but the actor looked like a bang average guy.

someone in isolation suffering issues with aggression, self-esteem and identity (as well as his more obvious mental issues!) would surely train and train hard.

it's one of the reasons i loved the story so much because i could relate to the strength training and low self-esteem part of it.
Yes I agree, they've surpassed the movies. Except maybe Manhunter, which was special in its own way. Well the actor seemed like quite a big dude to me!

I didn't like Gillian Anderson though. Not a fan of her "exquisite, captivating beauty" schtick at all. And why does she talk so slowly, yeesh

I cannot watch Game of Thrones. Too cruel for me.

Doctor Who of course. Oh and old episodes of Noel Fielding's luxury comedy.

Yes, I thought so. A few bits were a little predictable. But I found episodes two and three quite good. And three was scary. But I scare easily ***128561;

The actress who plays Merida is Scottish and her accent is still so cringeworthy. She must have been asked to modify it for American audiences. And Rumplestiltkin's Scottishness has still never been mentioned or explained? WHY?!

It's the best thing on TV at the moment, and that's pretty tragic.

Yeah they're both brilliant. Gift of Life shows people waiting to receive an organ from a donor - it's heartbreaking. Widows is an old but great drama from the 80s but worth watching. :-)

Ah yes, I've heard about The Gift of Life. Is some of it happy as well as heartbreaking, as I think I might find it hard to watch otherwise.

Yeah some of it is happy when someone receives an organ and you watch the progress they make after an operation.
