I hugged my brother in-law

My sister, her partner and my nephew came to stay for the weekend. We had a really nice weekend and went to legoland and just had fun.

When they were leaving I hugged my brother in-law (after my sister and nephew) when they left

This is a real big deal to me as it is something I have felt odd and awkward about not doing for sometime, something I have wanted to do but could not. It felt so natural too

I feel really happy about it and closer to them all now.

I just have my other brother in-law to hug now. I was bridesmaid at there wedding 20 years ago and felt for the whole day I was bridesmaid that I wanted to hug him. I never did and never have done since. I think the world of him and have grown to love him as apart of my family. The problem is to hug him now would be such a big deal I don't think it would pass without comment.

Well done Annie - I don't find it easy to hug people either. I don't hug members of my family apart from my youngest son.

im glad to hear you could do it and feel good about it too

I dont like to hug people either... luckily we dont do that in my family only the really close family
but heres a hug for you
