Pretty bad lately, for no reason I can think of other than SAD getting its claws into me early this year. I find this difficult to talk about, but not waking up in the morning/just disappearing off the face of the planet would be the ideal scenario for me.

Tubbs Do you take extra vitamin D in the winter months or have an SAD lamp or anything like that? Some people seem to find it helps.

I get bad SAD. It hasn't hit me yet because of the random warm and sunny days we keep getting and being able to spend time outdoors without a coat. I'm really dreading when it's going to get darker in the mornings and evenings because SAD is going to hit me hard - it feels like we've been treated to a longer bout of sunnier warmth and I'm not ready to say bye to it! (Sorry to the polar bears and ice caps and that)

Feeling terrible.
On day 6 of covid
(I know you don't need to test anymore, or isolate, but I tested because of my dad, I'd hate to pass it on, he's got COPD and a heart condition.)
I honestly thought it would be like a normal cold if I caught it now, but it isn't. It's horrible.
Means I've missed my first real lecture and workshop for my MA too.

Hope you feel better soon Merry. Covid varies massively in how bad it is. I had it in April 22 and was just tired for a few days but it took 11 days to test negative again. My wife had it three months later and was very sick indeed.
You are doing the right thing by testing and isolating. My boss has a vulnerable partner and insists we don't come to work if sick. I wish other employers were as considerate.

I decided to flip my mattress and get the new Winter duvet out (that i've had stored away under the bed since probably this time last year) whilst changing my sheets earlier. I've got into bed though unwashed from a long walk this evening and feel a bit grotty. I'm too tired to bother showering now. I've also just discovered a little pee dribble has leaked out onto my thigh as well - so much for freshening things up
