If you work on the TEA forms everyday I am pretty sure you will find success

Well put! I could not have said it better myself

Better still you were right I did get through the holidays (not without some turbulence) but that is to be expected I am sure. I feel like I am getting stronger and braver everyday.
How were your holidays and how are you doing now? I sincerely hope you are doing outstanding.
Hi Celine - you are such an encouragement. Thank you !
I too am getting stronger and braver!
About 5 weeks ago I went on holiday. There were some very challenging moments but I remained intact. On Monday I am going to stay with my daughter, partner and nearly 4 grandson in S.Ireland for a week.
I met a sauker for the first time last Sunday and they are planning to stay with me for 2 days in September.
A few days ago I stayed with a mutual friend for the night with very good friends of many years. We are planning to stay for a long weekend in September.
I'm going to contact the local radio station to ask to go on air to talk about Human Writes.
My writing a book continues gradually. About 7 chapters so far.
I have a special email friend from America and we exchange emails daily.
For 15 months until 5 weeks ago I barely had a single conversation with a human being, apart from a couple of visits by my daughter. I never ever answered my phone and never replied to messages. My confidence was shot to pieces.
I feel as though I have grown up a lot. I feel as though I can now ride difficult moments and carry on surfing those waves, and the splashes feel real good !!!!
How is it for you Celine? A very very big hug from me and saukers everywhere.
May your journey illuminate you and the people around you.
With very best wishes
Peter

Peter,
I don't know where to start? First I am thrilled to learn of the progress you are making in so many areas Second I must thank you for writing such a thoughtful note to me. I often wonder if my encouragement is helping anyone and just knowing how appreciative you are makes it all worthwhile!!! You truly have made my day, week, month and probably even longer
I am doing better than ever and never could have gotten where I am today without the encouragement of others. That's why I try and check in here at least occasionally to try and help a few others. CBT and the TEA forms have given me a life I never thought was possible for me and I always love hearing of others success with it or anything else for that matter.
Take care of yourself and just keep at it and I know you continue to make progress. It may not always come as fast as you want it to, but that's okay, because if you keep at it you will continue to build on what you have already accomplished I'm so excited for you Peter

Where are all my old friends? I hope you all are not posting because your life is going so well
I am doing so well I can't believe it and eager (instead of dreading) to see how I get through the always stressful upcoming holidays. I will report back on how I do this year

Still hoping to hear from all of my old friends? I hope everyone is well. I am doing amazingly well and better than I ever thought possible. It's is hard for me to fathom that I originally posted this thread over 4 years ago. I don't even recognize my former self before I learned the TEA form and CBT.

lets keep trying guys.
it isn't easy but I will stick with what I said before.
don't be afraid of looking like an idiot if you fail.
millions failed before you and millions will afterwards.
feel bad for a bit, step back, rationalise and then use that experience.
just consider the first time you do anything a trial. nobody cares if you fail it, it is just there for you to see what it is about.

take your falls with grace, roll with the punches, SA will knock you down but in return you have seen how it punches and now are better prepared for the next punch.

I failed, hard, at many things. i still do. non SA people also fail at things.
take the hit by throwing yourself into the situation and then in the second round, use your experience to block some of the punches.

beating SA is lots of little battles, tackle them one at a time you
