I have a determined or defiant streak that I've come to like. "If you're going through hell, keep going" kinda thing.

One of the few things I've ever got right was having the diligence to learn a creative skill (mostly teaching myself) and continuously refine it over a number of years. I admire my younger self for having the drive to do that, I'm trying to tap into that again as I'm learning something else now.

1) determined academically. I have worked hard all my life and have achieved a lot. Whether this is due to my own drive, or just fear of letting family down, it has still been a lot of work
2) when I am around the right people I can make them (and myself) laugh
3) I treat people that deserve my respect, with respect, and try to live my life with honour, although I once did a terrible thing I never told my friend about and to this day still feel guilty

The greatest thing ultimately is my uniqueness. It is also the worst thing when around people that don't understand your complex thought patterms and twisted sense of humour

Ach i got too friendly with this girl my friend was seeing. We crossed the line but tbh he was cheating on her and wanted to dump her. Still the dude was my best friend and i should never have become mates with this girl despite my pals blessing. Twas a good life experience anyway. Im still friends with the guy but he probably always suspects something and I dont quite feel that same tightness I had with him.

Ah well man. Its my one black mark I feel genuinely ashamed of and wish I could turn back time.
