Re: Type what you're thinking about right now (11)
Nah, it's technically overtime and I'm currently non replaceable, so they are stuck with my poor performance for now. Hopefully they will hire someone for me to train up me sooner rather than later, so I can start cutting my hours.

My counsellor has set me the challenge of complimenting 3 people each day : How do I do it without coming across as a weirdo? |

Me: Takes a bite of my dinner, eyes start watering.
Me: Runs out of the room *sneeze* *sneeze* *sneeze* Mum: What's up? Me: (nose streaming) I don't think I'll be able to eat this as it's full of chillies and I've got a sore throat Mum: There are no chillies in it Me: What are all those green hot things then? Mum: What green hot things Me: Digs a load of green hot things out of my food and gestures Mum: Those are Jalapeños Me: Jalapeño what? Me Waits expectantly for the reply "Jalapeño chillies" Mum: *Thinks intently* Jalapeños chopped up Me: Gives up on life |

Re: Type what you're thinking about right now (11)
Back to work tomorrow after being signed off for the past week. Inevitably I will be asked by half the office if I'm feeling better and probably asked to explain what was wrong with me. Only my manager and a couple of other colleagues know I'm depressed, cba explaining to the rest. Do I just say I had flu or something to the others? Don't really want mixed messages being sent round though.
The downsides of having mostly women in the office - getting asked loads of questions. |

How inconsiderate my dad is.
My brother got knocked off his bike today. He's just shaken up a bit and has a graze on his leg. He reported it and witnesses helped him. My dad is in a fury over it. And for some reason is blaming my brother for it. From what my bro says he was doing everything right. My dad layed in to him a bit. Sometimes i think my dad doesn't give a shit about anyone. |

How I'm going to be a good host to my American friend who is visiting for a few days in a week or so. She's already in the country, but I'd assume playing video games or such might get a bit stale after a while.
Being an introvert doesn't make for a good host I've found! |

^^^Thanks, the office was pretty dead today so didn't get much attention. Will keep your advise in mind for next time though. Everyone loves tea.

Fed up with the unpreditability of parcel numbers i'm getting. Saturday's are usually one of the easier days but i've got short of a hundred today (daily average has been around 70 ish recently).
And i thought i was gonna be finished before the rain and wind comes this afternoon |

I'm gonna have to buy some new clothes
I keep putting it off but theres only so much a belt can do..and now my pj's are sliding off me I'm only about 4kg away now from the NHS no longer calling me a fat bastard, (I've lost about 20kg) I can't say I noticed any differences till a good chum sent me a photo of myself last year, jaysus The problem with all this is I'm also getting weaker It might be the lack of food but I can't rely on my body mass as much now for pushing/moving things |

Re: Type what you're thinking about right now (11)
I got myself locked in the shopping centre the s'morn
I wandered in before 10 and must have followed a shop owner/staff to get in, I planned on walking thro the shop centre and out to the other side of town. Got to the back entrance - locked. I thought well i'll go to the main side entrance, as I approached I could see a few ppl trying to get in! (theirs me dying to get out!). Buggering hell, so I walked back to the top main entrance where I came in and that was locked to . So I had to spend 10/15 mins in a totally empty shopping centre pretending I really was meant to be there fml I also nearly killed myself on the drive home. Maybe I should stay in on Sundays after all... Also, when did shops start not opening on a Sunday until 10.30 |
