I have been with SAUK for 8 years on and off. I have bouts of depression which means i find it difficult to be consistant on here. The good news is that i am able to help myself better now and am getting better support than ever before. Its taken a long time but there is light at the end of the tunnel

Can anyone beat 8 years on here?

I have been posting on SAUK on and off for 8 and 1/2 years. Time goes so quickly!

I have only just recently started taking serious CBT. I had done it twice before but couldn't stick with it. I still have a lot of problems but I guess I have made significant progress since I first joined the site.

Around 15 years here, on and off and not bothered really about it, I accepted years ago I will be SA for life but am able to learn coping strategies plus try to have fun now and then.

I don't post so much on here nowadays.

I had a long break from here starting from I think around about 2006. Then briefly came back 2012, but not regularly. Too much going on and I wasn't ready to interact much with people even on here.
Pre 2006 I can't recall how long I was here for. I really can't recall when I joined in truth. 2003, 2004 ? maybe.

I've no idea how long if you omit the gaps. If you don't omit the gaps I don't want to think about it!

I have to say it was strange coming back, I recognised barely anyone. Though I don't know what I expected tbh.

Im the same as you really but Im hopeless at remembering and not very good at connecting on here, so it also felt a bit strange when I came back after a 2-3 year gap. I have met some new people, but havent made any friends really. Glad to be back and there are some really inspiring people on here which does give me some hope.
I also know that I have improved with time, now I cope better with my SA.
