Tricky dilemma…
I hate my job, I applied for a new one, I think I've done alright in the interviews and I might actually get it. Unfortunately I found out during the interviews that it's essentially a Christmas temp job with a chance to get a permanent contract but no garuntee. So do I stay in the nightmare of a job that's completely breaking me and is a big contributing factor to my depression or do I risk losing a perminant job for seasonal work?

Re: Tricky dilemma…
It would depend on your situation. If you are living alone or supporting anyone, keep the job. If your not then maybe go for the new job?

Re: Tricky dilemma…
I've slept on it, I feel worse about it now. As unhappy as my current job makes me I think being unemployed would make me feel worse. If the job was advertised as seasonal I never would have applied so maybe that says it all***8230;

Re: Tricky dilemma…
Maybe you could accept this new job, but continue job-hunting in case no permenant contract appears? If you've got spare cash from your current job, put it into savings just in case you struggle to find a different position. Best of luck with it!

The thing is I've been casually looking for 6 months and this is the only one that's come up, I havnt really got savings and I've got some payments coming up.

Re: Tricky dilemma…
exactly the same senerio as me but not too sure how well i did in the interview its a 6mth permanent contract and i think they do it to filter the bad workers because once a person gets a permanent contract then its a v long process to get rid
