^ I hate situations like that, where you're objectively the sensible one but you still feel like you've made all the social faux pas. Show me someone who reckons they can keep their cool under a sudden beetroot quizzing, and I'll show you an effing liar.

I'm thinking about how drinking a cup of coffee and feeling even more tired than you were before is the biggest swizz in the world.

I have bought some in the end and I kept saying I don't want anything, but some can't take that for an answer

leonardo da vinci was one strange human being (maybe in a good way). there's something about him makes me more curious about him. "and i'm not even into art"/ and am a little bit dumb to be fond of his works. however, i really don't know why i like him.

well, i wouldn't say i'm exactly dumb, though. maybe somewhere in between.

I've become some sort of freak

Since I got into my trying to lose a few rolls I went a bit over the top reading calories on Everything

It's taken over my life to some degree, now its xmas and I'm having the odd biscuit I keep thinking I've had too much junk and I need to cut it out (although I proceed to keep eating the biscuits...)

I think I've gone off most of the booze I liked too..I don't know if thats health freak related or not, I have no real desire to drink any.

I was already enough of a bore without cutting things out that potentially made me act less dull than dish water but

Don't get me wrong, I'm no "my body is a temple" I've already had a huge cooked breakfast this morning and numerous chocolates..but now I feel guilty about doing so which makes me a damn misery

Thinking about the cruelty of the aging process
From a bystander's point of view its horrible to watch, I can only imagine how hard it is to live through.

I'm surprised there are not more people on saying this or did they all say it at midnight?

This Christmas really hasn't felt anything like it to me, most years I feel very festive, but this year has felt very nothing.

It was my last day at work yesterday, was kind of weird packing my department up and sending it away. It was quite a stressful day too, as had a lot to do in little time.

I thought it was interesting that other people were all being sad I was going but I felt nothing, I'm a lot like my boss, we worked closely for three years and he just said bye and shook my hand, that's pretty much my level of sentiment.

My cousin sent us all separate Xmas cards from herself. Fine, nice thought. But she also sent us separate cards from her 2year old ( that was taken off her and put into care, she doesn't see him) which I thought is a bit odd.

However, she's the only cousin that bothers to chat to me so I shouldn't diss it really

Everything people love about Christmas - the highlighting and celebration of close bonds with other human beings - is what makes it so painful for me.

I've run out if milk and mum didn't add it to the supermarket delivery coming today, so now I need to choose between leaving the flat and not drinking hot drinks.

That I wish I had someone else to deal with bookkeeping/accounts paperwork. Its just me and the cat and lets be fair hes mostly just pushing stuff under furniture....its a better tactic than mine which is just sighing at it and wishing it would be done.

the technology we've got. I'm upstairs watching the christmas lectures, and being online at the same time. Dad's downstairs watching the rugby with my Uncle, with his computer upstairs online, and Mum's watching corrie in the bedroom.
