One of those jumpers that look like they have a shirt underneath with the collar, cuffs and bottom sticking out of it. I like how its both smart and casual. Would be good for a capsule wardrobe.

I've been looking at random action figures and thinking, coo, they look cool, wouldn't they be nice to have, then I realise I haven't played with things like that in nearly 25 years and it'd be weird to start now. But then I don't really want to play with them, I just think they'd be snazzy to own. That's still weird though, isn't it? Or is it? Why are some toys seen as acceptable and relatively grown-up, they're called 'collectables' or 'models' or whatever, but others are little baby play-things?

I just want all the things that 10 year old me would have liked, but I'm not 10 any more, and most grown-up things are boring

You know the kinds of unbranded toys you get in pound shops and bargain stores and the like, little soldiers with faces that look like they were painted by a horse, knock-off superheroes with errant bits of plastic hanging off them like they've got leprosy, that sort of thing? I find them really charming, but I'd feel like an ubernonce actually taking them to the till.

That would involve going to the shop to buy some though, and Iâ€™m not dressed. My pyjamas bottoms are too pyjamary to pass as trousers, and my legs are a bit too stubbly to roll them up and pretend Iâ€™m wearing my coat over a dress.

Iâ€™ve consulted with my cats and we all agree that you can buy whatever you like, so long as you have the means to do so and not forsaking other essential needs.

Loads of people (myself included) have toys, figures etc. that they like on their shelves.

the vet is keeping her in for tests and said she might need to get specialist treatment. I thought this was just a little allergic reaction. Our old dog was sensitive too, and she got hives too and it cleared up after a day. Just got to wait for the phone call to see the result of the tests. Iâ€™m sweating with worry.

See I'm regressing. I've always been a geek/nerd but I used to hide it in my youth (well ish - probably not very well)

Now I'm in my 30's I'm buying lego sets, gaming figures, gaming/nerdy t-shirts. I find nothing appealing about being an adult - its something I've been forced into, I'll do the bare minimum but I don't like it. I'm embracing my inner child

I'd like a soundproof room so I can play music and games and watch telly without worrying about the noise I'm making. I don't think my poor lugs will forgive me for the amount of time I spend with headphones on.

Either that, or one of those detached suburban houses they have in America where the nearest neighbour's half a street's length down the road. But, you know, not in America.
