Default Just a little thing...

I (quite surprisingly, and skeptically) realised today how amazing reflexology is. I normally don't really beleive in physical methods of relieving anxiety, or I feel I don't have time for them, but after my feet were massaged I felt SO much more relaxed and not worried about anything.

I wonder if anyone else has tryed this? Did you experience the same thing?

Just thought I'd share that, as it really set me up for the day

i had shiatsu a couple of times at the end of last year and it coincided with my chronic depression lifting for what was the first time in a couple years. i can't say for sure that the shiatsu was the trigger, and am still sceptical myself. i'd say that anything which promotes deep relaxation, as well as to a certain extent encourages you to put physical trust in another human being is probably beneficial for social anxiety in itself, regardless of anything to do with meridians or the flow of 'chi' etc etc. i'd like to try reflexology though. i'd imagine its impossible not to feel better after a decent foot rub.
