Who is looking forward to Spring?

Does anyone here absolutely love Spring? The other day I already saw some blossom and daffodils!

I like the change in the air around springtime...the air seems fresher and obviously tje days get warmer.

Who else loves Spring?? And why??

Yes, I used to feel a surge of hope around Spring. Now I don't, but I'm always relieved when the days get longer.

Yes, Angela! It makes me smile to see the daffodils poking their leaves out and the snowdrops are all in bloom.

After the dreary days of non stop rain last week, it's great to have had sunny days all weekend and today. I'm off to the beach to make the most of it today, as rain and grey clouds are forecasted for tomorrow and the rest of the week.

Kind of. It's nice to see nature reset itself. Doing it's thing as it were. But I think a lot of it comes down to my frame of mind. Lately I'm a fan of winter. Not for the dark nights, but more for the cool crispness of the winter air. Then when you get a bit of snow, it's like the snow icing on the cake. Or something like that. Although fill me with sugar and every month is great!

Absolutely! Summer is my favourite season these days but there's something so hopeful about spring. Watching the world come back to life is lovely, and the longer days definitely help my mood.

Spring is the season of hope, of rebirth, nature returning to life. I love to see the foliage returning, spring flowers and (later in the season) bluebells in the woods.

That and I get to turn off my heating and save some dosh.

Sorry to say that it went the same way as another of my threads (the original Misread Titties thread) - i.e. I was nuking some of my old posts and accidentally deleted that thread, when I had every intention of keeping it. There's no way of getting it back either. Oops

I will start another one though!
