^/^^ Managed to get a pack of 2 plastic tablecloths in Poundland. They are actually ideal, let lots of light through. Used one for the windows and gave the other one to mum for the table, so two happy bunnies.

Went out to the local shop with my Mum to get some food supplies and didn't come over all anxious or weird feeling (I needed to try getting out to see if I'll be able to get myself back to work on Monday, still not sure on that though).

Attended a Meetup event for the first time in months, which went quite well. Talked to quite a few people, and there were only a few moments where I just sat in silence awkwardly., which is good for me! Actually managed to have a proper conversation with people too, which is a very bizarre experience for me.

Really nice to talk to some new people, which doesn't happen often. Its a shame my local Meetup group is a shadow of what it was - used to be really popular when I joined a few years ago, but now theres not much going on. Hopefully some more events will happen soon.

Went back to the scary aerobics class and it was a lot better than the first time. I think partly due to eating something an hour of so before which meant I didn't have a blood sugar crash, and partly because the trainer was more vocal about what you could do if you couldn't manage the proper moves just yet (eg side stepping instead of grapevining).

^ Glad to hear they've backed off!

I finally sent off an application for a voluntary placement.

Fixed my rowing machine. It had been showing erratic numbers, my distance was counting up too slowly and stroke rate was staying at 00.

While I was trying to find a solution, I found out that the monitor has useful things built in, like interval training, which is something I've been doing manually.

Looking forward to see what progress I've made while my monitor was pooped.

Well done for taking so much action Skitz. What kind of private therapy is it - CBT, counselling or a psychologist?

Not today, but Thursday. A chef accidentally poured a big container tomato sauce on the floor and I cleaned it for them. I know that's a typical response but a day later my colleague, the other kitchen porter was noting how she wouldn't clean the sauce if it happened and how other chefs would clean up after themselves. How this chef was racist, which I honestly don't believe. I just think she is a target for the colleague to pick on. At first I believed my co-worker but now knowing her, I don't. Infact I see my colleague as manipulative.

Just repaired a leaking close-couple cistern,
Took it all apart, fitted new washers brackets and put in a new syphon valve,
Bolted it all together and voila, no leaks (apart from the ones I'll take in it )
Pretty chuffed,....whilst remaining cautious,
But filled and flushed it about 4 times now and seems fine, .

Now to get on with all the other housework that needs done

Managed my first straight 3k row yesterday and repeated it today. That's only 10mins rowing, but given my limit was 500m not that long ago I'm pleased. I've also realised that the second 1k is where my body screams "Stop!! you're going to die!!!". Once I get into the 3rd 1k I settle back down, so I think I'm going to try to progress by 1k per week until I'm doing 10k, see how that works out.
