Newb here
Hi everyone,
I am glad to have found this forum. I'm 29, female. I've decided to join here as I feel quite isolated. I had depression and social anxiety for most of my teen years. Then, by what seemed like a miracle, I got better and regained control for several years. Then, about 3-4 years ago, the same issues started to return. The social anxiety and depression started to build up around me again. I get my bad days, but I also still have my interests, which is good. I have a husband, two cats and two snakes. Anyway, I'll keep things short and sweet in this post. It's good to join you all |

Re: Newb here
Thank you all for the welcome
The cats are just curious about the snakes. There is no fear at all. When I am holding one of the snakes, they try to come up to them to have a sniff. The snakes vivariums are in a room which the cats do not have access to, so they don't get to annoy them. It works well. |

Re: Newb here
Hi RevereTheStars, I'm new here too (or a noob, as my son would say). I'm 29 also, and know how different life experiences and situations can greatly affect my SA too.
As for the cats and snakes - and of course, hubby :-) - you sound like you have a strong foundation to kick off from. I wish you all the best! Oh, and I'm also curious about the relations of snakes and cats. Only one of my cats seem to like my bearded dragon - the other two I think are more scaredy cats, haha. But I still have to have eyes in the back of my head when the beardie's out - just in case! |

Thanks AutumnJesster :D
That's funny about your bearded dragon. They are such interesting creatures! I know what you mean - cats and reptiles are worlds apart really. They have their own little ways. My cats would probably try playing with them, and they wouldn't really like that. |
