I posted about Huel on here a while back. They are quite nice. I used to get vanilla flavour and add a spoon of instant coffee if memory serves me correctly.

^ I went for a bag of new vanilla and a bag of chocolate (since you have to buy 2!)

Then they did the 10 sample flavour add on thing for £1.50 so I got that too.

It's probably more nutritional than 39p noodles imported from..somewhere! Id hope.

I need to go and do some shopping but it's pouring with rain and the supermarket will be heaving, I'm not in the mood for people today.

^^ I got the sampler too but none of the flavours were too exciting and didn't see any reason to keep paying extra for flavour sachets when I liked the base flavours.

New vanilla and old vanilla tasted identical to me. Chocolate was quite nice

When I ordered mine, I used my friends refer a friend code for £10 off, then the second time I ordered I set up an account in my mums name and used my own refer a friend.

eBay are doing a general discount code right now if anybody needs anything. It can be used on items from multiple sellers, you just need to add stuff to your basket and use the code at checkout.

How good Hichcock's Psycho still is, by rights it really shouldn't be given it's nearly 60 years old. Yet it still surpasses much of the tat on offer today.

Where to go on holiday. I've booked two weeks off in two weeks time. I have to use it or I'll lose it at the end of the year, so... what to do? I could go pretty much anywhere but I don't really feel like doing anything at all... I don't want to stay here though, I'd just go insane.
I don't know. It's hard to decide anything when you're viewing it all through the lens of depression.

Just biting into a bit of cardboard and thinking whether it's good for the teeth to crunch hard into something every now and then, as an exercise. You never hear anything about that sort of thing, they should probably research it.

my Huel arrived, I tried a "snack" size..it was pretty damn watery, maybe I didn't put enough powder in.

I've made my "lunch" up for tomorrow, tucked away in the fridge..I think I best take some proper food too incase I have to pour it down the sink..

^ Hmm...

Ish! The pack said 3 scoops with 600ml. I've ended up with about 500ml of water but was planning to top it up a bit more before taking it with me to work in the morning. This is with vanilla, the one I tried tonight was chocolate..it tasted a bit like a cheap watery..oaty milkshake

^ Yeah, that's the same ratio. But it says for weight loss it should be 2.5 scoops for lunch. You said you are eating it instead of salad, so i assume you are trying to lose weight? (my bad, that's for the ladies, 3 scoops is right for you)

How to use Huel

Wouldn't it be better to look up some quick and easy recipes for things that are healthy/balanced, something you could make in advance at the beginning of the week and portion out for every day?

Those meal replacement drinks seem like an utterly miserable way of living.

Yeah, I may have to :/ Thing is, I'm terribly unfit and physically lazy.

Also, even my gf's former personal trainer admitted weight loss is almost all about diet!

I'd managed to reach 77.5 kg solely through dieting, but it has crept up again.

Someone's sent me a parcel. It's with Hermes. So I will probably never get it.
The only options are for them to try to deliver three days in a row (while I'm at work) , or to leave it in a safe place (I don't have one) or with a neighbour (I don't know them so I'm not about to redirect things to them)
These appear to be the only options so I guess it'll end up being sent back to the sender, whoever that is. I can't even find that out.

In response to the few comments about my diving into the world of eating baby food for lunch

It's actually not bad, I mean its no substitution for a bacon sandwich but its not unpleasant! (and I've spent £42 on 2 bags so I'm using them!) Maybe by the end of the week its back to the drawing board but with the amount of actual time I get for lunch (its not a lot) and the various types of food I either dislike/am trying to cut out/I've already had to death and I'm bored of..I'm struggling.

Vanilla flavoured cake batter/porridge isn't as grim as it sounds though (for now!)

If I can lose a few KG too, wouldn't hurt. I got rid of a good 20kg+ last year but could still do with maybe another 4-5 in an ideal world.
