So my metaphor is this - I feel like a tiny droplet of water in the ocean of life being buffeted by the cruel winds of fate.

I think i was on drugs when I wrote mine.

I am on a long bus journey - the destination is Happyville. The route is bumpy and long, the scenery desolate. Sometimes the bus passes through a rough area where yobs attack the bus with heavy rocks and bullets. This is very scary.
Occasionally the bus goes through a nice little town which looks pleasant but boring and sleepy. I could get off at such towns but I choose not to. I want to stay on all the way to Happyville where it all happens, where life is exciting, fun and one long holiday.
I am still on the bus and have been on this journey a long time. At the moment we are going through boring flat landscape and the sky is grey. There is not much to look at through the window...
