Re: Did you use to like WWE when you were younger?
I have never seen it in my life. I had friends who did watch though. We never had Sky TV and was that the only way to watch it?

Re: Did you use to like WWE when you were younger?
If I had Sky like my cousin did, I probably would have at least watched the bigger WWF events like Wrestlemania in the late 80s-early 90s. When it was Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Macho Man and so on. But I was poor and still am.

No. As a matter of fact, I didn't like people who did.
Too loud and American for my liking. |

I remember when it was called WWF.
I think things became heated after they accidentally set up a 144,000 acre preservation area to preserve Hulk Hogan. |

Re: Did you use to like WWE when you were younger?
I used to like it at times when I was a kid, the campy early 90s Ultimate Warrior and Macho Man stuff, and then the edgelord late 90s Attitude era. Though I think it might have been more that I liked the action figures and video games.
This was WCW, but I'd still like to share... |

Re: Did you use to like WWE when you were younger?
I used to love watching WWF in the 80s! My favourite wrestlers were Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage. Although I was only able to watch the WWF for a few years because my Dad had lost his ability to turn himself into Captain Jack Sparrow. Then when we didn't get those channels anymore, I had to go back to watching British wrestling again. Which wasn't the same.

Re: Did you use to like WWE when you were younger?
^^ I grew up with those figures! I remember ones like Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior were prone to losing their fingers, as were the spikes on the Legion of Doom costumes. The Bushwhackers were really common for some reason. Couldn't move for Luke and Butch at rummage sales and car boots.

^^^^
I call dibs on Hulk and Randy! I didn't have any wrestling figures growing up. Although I did have a care bear, but funshine bear wasn't much of a wrestler. Especially when funshine's stuffing came out! Anyway Great wrestling figures, TD, P! |

Re: Did you use to like WWE when you were younger?
Yes, when I was like somewhere between 11 - 13 was the first time I saw it.
I'm surprised though that nobody mentioned here how they believed it was real. Was it so obvious to everyone? I thought it's real when I watched the very first episode. Pretty quickly realised it's not, though. I think somebody told me. Never was a big fan, but the main characters were always appearing somewhere, like Triple H, Randy Orton, Dave Bautista. I like movies with Bautista. Also John Cena meme is still relevant, I believe? |
