I should probably say something memorable for my 1000th post.... I've got nothing.

I'm presuming that's for me?!

I should probably have started in the intro's thread but hey ho. Had SA since I was 11-12 (20 odd yeas ago), have overcome some aspects of it but still affects me every day, particularly with relationships.

This place looks interesting, think I'll stick around

It's become that time of year again where I turn into a big block of ice and can't touch anyone with my hands without them screaming ''ow! Wow you've got freezing hands! Keep away from me!" They're just lucky I don't try touching them with my feet.

What a great choice John Hiatt's 'Cry Love' was for it's use in Arrested Development. I really like this song and it always brings great memories of the AD series to mind... not to mention the pangs of feeling of where i was at during my discovery of the comedy.

does anyone else stick fruit stickers on themselves? i was folding the shirt i wore today and noticed there was a sticker from the nectarine i ate earlier. in my life i've probably like answered the door and gone out with a fruit sticker either on my shirt or in the middle of my fore head tbh. i dont' know why i still do this, it's pretty much second nature.

Blah! I forgot it's my brother-in-law's birthday today now I have to go out and get him a card and gift voucher. I can't be bothered seeing any of my family so I'm going to post it to them when I know that they'll be at my mums. I know I'll be getting a what the hell?! phonecall afterwards but I'll say I have a cold. Just cannot be dealing with my family today.

Wayhay I got away with being anti-social! Posted my bro-in-law's card and got a call from him a few hours later saying sorry he missed me as he'd gone out.
Going to have a busy week. In hospital all tomorrow with Mike, then covering a shop Tuesday, volunteering on Wednesday afternoon to price up some stock, my shop Friday then I'm running the fashion stand at the vintage fair on Saturday. I'm gonna be tired!

yeh gyms not bad, not going that much at the moment - maybe twice a week on a friday and sunday but trying to stick to compound lifts only in the hope I can still gain some kinda muscle. Recently started work again so that's kept me busy I guess.

Glad to see things working out well for ya

One word of advice I'll give though in terms of yer love life - don't rush things. Don't let your heart dictate the decisions you make otherwise it'll hurt if things don't go right in the end. I know what it's like to have intense feelings for someone, but eventually these feelings turned into intense bitterness . Anyway, not trying to cast a downer, savour the good times (I ain't one to dish out relationship advice having not been in a proper one anyway, jus some stupid shite with some girl ages ago)

Mike is getting some minor surgery so he's gonna be there all day. I hate hospital waiting rooms but there's something not quite right about having to go get something like that done on your own so I offered to go with.

That's nice of you. I really hate waiting rooms in general, especially if they have a clock in them, you can literally feel time slow down.

I can never get comfy on those horrid plastic chairs. I'd rather sit on the floor but that's not socially acceptable.
