Do you prefer white, red or rose wine?

I think I like rose best although I haven't had any for ages.

Red would be my last choice as it goes to my head very quickly and I get a terribly headache with it.

Mmmmmmmmm, white wine all 'warm and yummy', by warm I don't mean I partially boil it in a kettle then drink, just the warm relaxing 'feeling' I mean.

Although I have only indulged at special occasions, honestly! .

I like white wine best, but am avoiding it at the moment as I had the hangover from hell after last Saturday night.

Before I cleaned up my act, I was rather hooked on red - claret / Bordeaux. I used to love the hangovers...sit around all day, drinking tea and eating McDonalds In contrast, white burns my throat, it's like drinking acid. And rosé? It's pink...it's for girls!

I prefer my wine on Linux. (a joke for the computer buffs on the board)

Though seriously, I'm teetotal, so any wine is a no-no (I just wanted to tell the joke :p).

I can't stand wine anymore. The first time I began drinking it I ended up drinking over two bottles of the stuff, plus a bit of champaign.

... the hangover lasted three days...

I voted red but in fact, the only time I drink these days is when I visit my Nan and it's usually her Rose that I have a few glasses of.

I can't stand white, it gives me a hangover as I'm drinking it.

Like any really, but top of my list has to be red. Anything from a heady French Claret, to a South African Sauvignon, to a Californian Zinfandel.... i love em all.

It has to be red, but there's also something to be said for a nice chilled glass of white or rose on a hot day.

All. I go through cycles where I'll stick to red for a bit, then go through a white phase, with a spot of rosé action inbetween.

I definitely think white is *nicer* than red, especially a good Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio, but I like the heady power of a quality Shiraz, Merlot or Pinot Noir. White wine can be very acidic, so can occasionally make me want to gip but I find it's easier to drink more when I'm out without falling over.

And I don't care if Rosé's for girls, it's gorgeous. I love its delicate way.

Tonight I cracked open a bottle of '82 claret I bought 19 years ago. It tasted like cat's pee.
