Thank you Lady, Poems and Betty.

I'm a big nerd when it comes to this sort of thing so it's been really fun to do and has kept me occupied. It's also nice to know it's of use to others.

If there is anything that you feel needs changing or would like to see added please let me know,

Thanks,

SF

I started reading a book called Freeing Yourself from Anxiety and so far its been really helpful. Its all about being realistic, seeing negative thoughts for what they really are and changing them before they cause you to feel anxious.

Can I recommend Managing Anxiety with CBT for Dummies?

I got this book out of my local library and while I'm not a fan of any book that calls its readers "dummies" I found it to be very user-friendly and easy to work through. (Does that make me a dummy? )

I would like to add a book, Hardwiring Happiness by Dr Rick Hanson. It is a very clear guide to the neuroscience behind negative and positive thoughts and simple tools for increasing the positive and being more graceful with the negative.

https://incluzy.com/benefits-employi...iduals-autism/ - a non-profit website, which helps individuals with disabilities obtain a job.

The main goal of this guide is to help promote the values and attributes autistic individuals can bring to a business or organisation, that may not have been initially obvious.

There are over 700,000 individuals living in the UK with autism, however, it is estimated that only 15% of those have jobs. For businesses, this is a massively untapped market, that the author of this guide would like to shine a positive light on.

Given my job, I just wanted to mention Reading Well Books on Prescription: https://readingagency.org.uk/adults/...resources.html They're a list of books recommended by health experts, I recognise some of the titles from this list from the list on the original post of this thread. You may get "prescribed" a title from the list if you're seeking professional help. There is also Shelf Help - a collection aimed at teens. All available from your local library. Even if you can't go to your local library then it provides a useful list of quality, recommended texts that may help.

This book gets one of the best Amazon UK reviews I have seen:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Overcome-So...gateway&sr=8-1

I'm reading it right now. It takes an approach to the background behind SA that I have not yet seen anywhere else.
