Most i seen are 500Mb and around 50 quid. I cant find any that are smaller and thus cheaper. Need to transfer some files over to new hard drive (around 80gb worth). I used a software program before between old and new HD on my desktop but fearful of virus/malware crossing over cos my PC seems infected and cant get rid.

hard drives suck at the moment

because of all the flooding in thailand (where a part of the arm i think it is..) is made, hard drive production went tits up and prices doubled/tripled

as you want an external though you still may be alright because these will just be whats already in stock hiding in the back of argos and stuff, but they will still cost a fair bit more than they should!

Well as i said my dilemma is i have a new HD already and cba to install it and cross over all my old data. Now that my system seems ****ed i have to do it soon. Most of my files are media like vids/mp3 and game files from Steam. What i did before was use dedicated program to copy drive that would copy select files onto the new installed HD. But afraid whatever virus/malware is on it might cross over to. But then the same may apply if i put it on a external HD. Whats the best way to go about it.
I scanned the hell out of my system but my browser is not working prop so maybe its located only within that.

^I think theses days you will, be hard pushed to find smaller than about 320GB external.

A cheaper alternative, if you have an old Internal HDD kicking about could just get an HDD USB or SATA enclosure . I've got one myself with an old 200 GB for a handy back up.

Dont have any old drives kicking about. The only cost effective way i can think of is burn the files to blank media but would takes ages.

tbh just moving files over you shouldnt be able to move a "virus" as such

if its just mp3's/xvids some documents...viruses are usually pesky hidden .exes so id just copy over whatever you want to the new drive (or maybe a phone/old ipod whatever you might have that has some storage) then wipe the old drive and reinstall windows fresh ...steamapps isnt even that important i guess aslong as you remember your game saves in my documents, quite a few save to cloud now too, so you could redownload if you had to?

You can leave prawn crackers, but they might not be crispy and instead a little softer. 1 night isnt that much though (especially unopened).

Any smokers around?

Want to try it but I've absolutely no idea what brand to go for. I'd ask my Dad to roll me one of his but I doubt he will

^I would advise against it but it depends what you are after.

I would personally start off with Malboro lights or my personal fav Lucky Strike silver. The cheaper the cigarettes the rougher they get, not that you will be able to tell with you first one. Sooo, buy the cheapest possible, Richmond superkings for example, hate it and then don't do it!

the bad influence at work i used to hang around with was quite the smoker, kept offering me one, one time in a pub she ..i dont know what you call it..not exactly kiss but inhaled a load and blew it in my mouth out of nowhere

..it was the only time in my life id actually somewhat had a cig (barring the odd dabble with weed)

..it was crap tbh i dont see the appeal (thank god, i couldnt afford it)

You may as well go the whole hog and smoke some weed instead at least that way it may make you feel happy.

i have a real question!

is there anything i can put on my face to improve it somewhat, i got really badly sunburnt over summer (practically bloody died i tells you!, had nurse out to me..was dehydrated and had "burns" and blisters and stuff)

now it did improve after a few weeks but if i look in a mirror now the skin on my nose and cheeks are still redder than the rest of my face and the skin appears to be...dry..like a bit wrinkly if you go close up/looks sore (even though it isnt too bad), moisturizer of some variety will help? or i have i bollocked that part of my face too? seriously my face is already a mess i need all the help i can get

Sounds like just a simple moisturiser would do you good, get a little tub of Nivea cream and see how that goes, its only like £1.20 or something.

A decent pack of 20 is going to set you back around £7 quid these days. Rolling your own is cheaper.

Yeh, you can get some brands cheaper but that's what Embassy and Marlborough go for. Obscenely expensive habit!
