Re: Can't sleep :(
Thought I'd got my sleep back in order, but the last three or four nights have been crap. Up at stupid times and asleep again until stupid times.

Re: Can't sleep :(
^^^ That sounds rough I often wake up feeling like I'm going to be sick, and then don't, and I haven't even vomitted in about 18 months, but I still feel convinced it's going to happen this time. It's awful just feeling it, but to wake up to it happening... I hope you're feeling better today.

Re: Can't sleep :(
I recall, while badly hungover, puking up fried egg and beans on toast while falling off to sleep on my back, about 30 mins after I ate it Didn't put me off it though

Re: Can't sleep :(
all you ever wanted to know about sleep:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-41666563 I might get blue light filters on my glasses. The highest population struggling with sleep is 25-29 year old women. |

Re: Can't sleep :(
^ Have you found that the Escitalopram has changed your sleep patterns Mo? (I think you said you were taking that).
Since starting this med about 6 weeks ago I***8217;ve gone from literally being awake all night to often falling asleep about 9/10 pm and occasionally sleeping right through the night! (this hasn***8217;t happened since my teens!) But do I feel any better on it? Nah, not a bit! Most of the day I feel so fuzzy headed and no more motivated to do things than I did before taking these meds |

It does make me sleep more for sure, in the beginning it was hard to stay awake! Last night I think was more from not feeling well though. I woke up just after 3am feeling like death, thought i'd never get back to sleep and yet did, not waking up till 7.45am Had to rush around to get ready for vol job as i'd set my alarm wrong. As for escitalopram making me feel better, probably a bit - I think it helps me in social situations but like you I get a bit fuzzy headed and motivation is a real struggle at times. |

It’s a relief to hear that the Escitalopram also seems to have affected your sleep patterns, as I did wonder if it was due to something else (getting older!) or just unique to me. I can’t say I’m complaining about the sleepiness after years of being wide awake most nights, but I’m not so happy about the fuzzy head and lack of motivation in the day. As for finding social interaction any easier while taking these meds, well, I haven’t exactly put myself in any particularly daunting social situations to test myself yet. Most of my time is spent with family members who aren’t very scary |

Re: Can't sleep :(
If I know I need to be up for something in the morning, even if it's not important, I just can't sleep. My mind just won't let me

Re: Can't sleep :(
Judging by lack of panic stations by mh team after mtg me again a few years down the line they can't be that concerned. Tho doctors appoint might throw up another kettle of fish to deal with. Sigh.
