I miss proper music shows like top of the pops and stuff. I know there is live with jools holland but most of the music doesn't appeal to me and Jools Holland just annoys me anyway cos hes always shouting. I also miss travel shows. I loved watching wish you were here and holiday when I was younger and they just don't do stuff like that anymore, unless it involves buying houses abroad yawn. And bring back decent Saturday morning tv please. I soo miss watching fun, crazy, stupid stuff on a Saturday morning even though I am too old to watch stuff like that now

The most recent I've played is 'The Witcher' series, although you'll probably want a fairly beefy PC to enjoy the experience.

If you don't mind going back a few decades, The 'Shining Force' series on Sega Megadrive & Saturn had great story lines, and quite involved turn based combat. I can't express with mere words the joy I found in taking the weakest, most useless characters and turning them into a legion of unstoppable killing machines.

Anyone remember Hot Lemon Crunch? I used to love it when I was kid but all of a sudden it just disappeared and I've never seen it since.

I think they did Banana version too.

I tried to recreate it a few months ago but it wasn't the same.

lol I reckon I have played around 300 RPGs so I can kinda predict what's going to happen long before it does.
I have Witcher 2 but I couldn't get into it at all.
I dont mind old shit games as I am a story whore lol

pheys:

Have you tried Secret of Mana from the Super Nintendo, you can get it from the Virtual Console if you have a Wii/Wii U, you could also try Chrono Trigger which is kinda like a better version of this (but I prefer SOM).

(Just reminded myself I must finish Chrono Trigger on the DS, I kinda got bored level grinding near the endgame and didn't finish, also there's about 7 different endings so I got scared I might not get a good one).

Circa 1989 shell suits, fluorescent bermuda shorts and bum bags.

Shell suits were THE most comfortable, lightweight item of clothing.

But they did have a tendency of catching fire easily and the man made fibres melting onto your skin. Apart from that they were great.

Wall's Bizz. They were fizzy flavoured ice in cups and came with plastic spoons you used to scoop them out with. They came in in Cola and Lemon flavours. The Cola one was the best. I haven't found anything like it since.

Here's a link to a picture anyway: http://img.inkfrog.com/click_enlarge...&aid=077695761

^Oh dear, God. I would get so messy eating those on account of always obsessively trying to get the perfect split between colours just so I could stare at each piece in wonderment.

Nothing's changed really, I still get just as messy eating the regular Fry's Chocolate Cream only now it's because I obsessively take the whole bar out of the wrapper just so I can marvel at its unblemished shiny smoothness.
