Having a cold. I got out of going to a children's birthday party.
My gf- "You shouldn't come to the party full of toddlers with that cold".

Family.

Despite this past week bring horribly sad as my Uncle died unexpectedly, it is often in shared loss that we are drawn together and I have become closer to my cousins. As an only child who had never really had a relationship with any cousins me entire life, the warm fuzzy feeling of belonging and care a new but very welcome one. If only they didn't live in Spain!

Today I'm thankful for my Granny's health. She was taken to hospital last night and the doctors thought she initially may have had a mini stroke. I haven't found out what the doctors official diagnosis is but I know that she is getting out of hospital today I know my Mum must be feeling so relieved!

I'm also thankful for the lovely people on my uni course who were so smiley and happy this morning and just gave me positive vibes, lifting me out of my horrible mood!

I'm sorry to hear about your Uncle But I'm very happy to hear that there is a bright side to your situation and that you're grateful for your family

The beauty of autumn, music and not knowing what the future holds (I'm trying to come around to seeing this as a good thing).

I've been having a hard time lately, dealing with some emotional turmoil, but I'm still here, breathing, and every day brings a new chance to discover a small slice of hope.

Today I am truly grateful that I am healthy and that I've had a whole day off and being doing homework that I really got into and stayed productive.

Yes! I love this attitude

The phrase 'one day at a time' is probably a little cliche and obvious, but I've found it to be a great mindset to get into, treating each day anew, reminding myself to put whatever happened the day(s) before aside and is in the past, while trying to find hope and joy in the day in any way I can.

I'm grateful to have seen a good film at the cinema today and had a nice meal. My best friend is on good terms with me again and for my health, it's okay so far.

The support I get from the members of this forum, even though you have your own troubles to deal with you still find time to think of me, it means a LOT.

Also for my Whatsapp buddies, I really am grateful even though I have never met some of them and probably never will they too mean a huge amount to me.

^ Have to agree with that although it's mainly the chat room for me.

I'm grateful for my eldest son who does so much for me, especially over the last few weeks but also encourages me to do as much as I can myself.

Friends. Well, friend really because I only have one and I wasn't sure I had that many till today. I hadn't heard from her for months. She was going through a particularly bad time with depression and I feared the worst because she had talked about wanting to die.

Today I'm grateful that it was a beautiful, warm sunny day for the first time I saw my grandma's headstone that was put in place recently, it's beautiful and has a lovely view overlooking the river
