So, so down and wondering where to go post CBT, as I can see a number of mental issues beyond social anxiety, namely low self-esteem, inferiority complex, especially with women and motivation to do anything.

It worked on my social anxiety, definitely - and the measures confirm this, but I feel that there are other issues, which can only really be tackled by self help.

i feel like my energy has been well and truly wrung out of me. like i'm a tea bag that has been used 20 times. like i've been abused by a vampire in the night. like i've been kicked in the nuts, but without the localised pain. you know that deep depression and sense of ultimate defeat you get from a kick in the stones? my mind has assumed the form of the thought "GO. LIE. DOWN." it's not screaming this , my mind just is that thought - everything i do just brings me back to that inevitable and undeniable order.

pity i have to do a shift in one job, and then a shift in the other straight after, today.

i've already ridden caffiene for all it's worth ande my body can't do that anymore. i just need to go to bed. but it ain't happening.

*waves wrist limply*

when will i bloody learn? if i'd just gone to bed an hour earlier i probly wouldn't feel this way.

I feel abit frustrated and let down progress I thought i had made seems challenging now.
Feel more self concious outside of my flat and I think my neighbours are thinking things of me and peering out at me ...To cut along story short,me and my bf had to make a complaint about them(they are noisey at night) and now well my self concious and sa has got intense because of this problem : / when before i felt alittle more anoymous but not now : ( it feels confrontational and personal.
And me and my b.f have seen the guy staring out he just gorps what a tosser

^ It is always hard making complaints about people misslaura and it is bound to make you feel self-conscious. Your neighbours are bound to have a bit of a grudge against you and your bf for complaining about them but you just have to try not to let it bother you - you are the ones in the right!

I feel scared and worried and have thoughts about my problems dominating my head. I wish I didn't have to think about the same thing all the time.

^ Sorry you feel this way Vi

I feel as if everything's hopeless. People I turn to for help can't give me the help I need and end up hurting me and punishing me instead. Life is cruel

Give yourself a chance and don't reinforce your negative thinking by condeming yourself to inaction. There's a huge swathe of people out there with different interests, likes and lives. I'm sure you can find some friends.

Winnie: Thanks. I hope you're feeling a little less for wear.

I'm feeling hot and bothered. I'm also feeling as though I don't have the energy to communicate. I've been contemplating writing a post in the SA room for days, and trying to become more responsive. The truth is there is no light to the back of me and there is no light forward. It's just one path to nowhere... accompanied by the patter of someone's feet that fit all too well to where it leads.

Hugs to all the SA'ers that feel low try and escape from your pain/troubles for a while, in whatever way you can, it really helps. Banish those negative/harmful thoughts too, I know only too well how they drag you down/back - even during good times

I feel good, though a few aches and pains in my arms still - I defo need to get fit!

Not very well. After a track meet today for my school, I just completely failed at every event. I gave up in each race, and taunts from spectators demoralised me. I feel worthless and depressed, to such an extent that I've seriously considered to start taking steroids

I feel a little better today - a little communication has helped clear up some serious worries I had. I'm still missing my son though
