I seem fine now and had a lot of tests with everything coming back normal, I've had panic attacks before so it looks like that's the most likely cause but it just seemed a bit "quicker" than other ones I've had and I haven't had one for about 10 years or something so it's a bit out of the blue but I'm going back for a second check on Wednesday as apparently I was completely unconscious for about 5 minutes.

Urgh, I hate having workmen in the house. I offer a cuppa and a choccy biccy and then pretend to be reading while really straining to hear if I'm needed for anything. Hope it goes quickly and peacefully.

Same. But I try to hang on to the idea that differences of opinion aren't the end of the world, even if strongly held. Both sides of the debate were approaching things from the POV of wanting to be nice, positive etc. which is a plus at least!

A reasonable concern. As it was, the content of the thread was actually pretty issue-free. No big problems. But as was pointed out above, it was by its nature exclusive to some people, who may have felt bad. So: gone.

You're right of course, doesn't excuse the nastiness that always seems to linger on after this sort of thing though and that personally triggers me far more than feeling left out of the thread in question would've done

All I could think when I saw that thread was "who's said something great or admirable here recently?". Why are the moderators pandering to negativity and self-loathing? I don't like that one bit.
