Thanks biscuits

Just to be confusing i'm doing 2 course at the min. The peer mentoring course I've just started and is on a Monday afternoon. The course I was at tonight was Introduction to Counselling which is a bit more intense? (from an sa perspective). They do compliment one another tho. This was session no 5 so there is another 5 sessions to go. You can then chose to move onto the level 2 course in Jan.

But yeah it is difficult when it's kind of forced and the person I did a mock 5 min session with wasn't giving me much to work with so I just panicked and my brain died, lol.

^^^^^ What a thoroughly unpleasant individual. Try not to let this bother you AireleeBray. This behaviour is so ridiculous that I wouldn't rule out this undesirable from being intoxicated. If you do feel nervous about walking the same route (highly unlikely someone who conducts themselves in such a manner would have the discipline for any sort of routine), perhaps you could try walking in close proximity to others. I don't think this irksome character would humiliate himself in front of others for fear of backlash. If you were to wear earphones, even without any music this could create an illusion that would make it easier for you to ignore such idiocy - denying the craved reaction.

^^ Oh! Thatís great! (I mean the extra course - not that you found it challenging)

Hopefully next time youíll be paired with someone who makes it a little easier to practise with. Maybe they were feeling mega awkward too though.Sometimes I think mentioning that you find something awkward is a good thing - it either makes people open up and say they feel the same or it makes them want to help to make it less awkward and they become more reassuring.

Was supposed to be somewhere today and I've had to cancel and let someone down.
I didn't feel well enough mentally to face it, but this reason alone feels flimsy, like if I'm not physically ill then its not a legitimate enough reason and I should have been able to straighten my head out and push through it. Just leaves me feeling even more crap about myself than I already do.

The weekend is so close I can smell it...
Shame it smells of wasted opportunities, loneliness and boredom already.

I did something very similar this morning. Try not to be too hard on yourself

I'm starting to feel really tired after only getting 2 hours sleep last night and I've got another 7 hours to get through before I can hug my bed.

I am feeling quite ill. I have got a sore throat and feel all achy, so typical because I have a night out tomorrow to a gig... The first night out since February! Just typical that I feel really ill and the weather's terrible so that it feels more like an ordeal than a treat!

Hah! I know that feeling. But while that may be true to an extent, I would hate to be 15 years older looking back to NOW and realise the same thing.

Fat

I can't eat like I used to

I had one of my usual takeaways and spent most of the night with stomach ache, I'm still not feeling peachy..so I'll probably just have water all day and no food

I think I'll avoid the scales as I've probably put about a months worth of weight loss on too.

(Life was much easier when I didn't give a shit)

Frustrated. I can't deal with being messed around, even after so much time has passed, I can't stand not having answers.

I'm feeling pretty good. Surprisingly. I got myself all worked up before going to this bloody Sanctuary Quiz night. I even went round the car park the wrong way
But saw it through. M didn't let me down and had me seated at s's table which was a big relief. I knew no one else at the table but we all got on well and it was a really good laugh. Had a salmon dinner with cheese cake for pud and the 3 and 1/2 hours flew by. Also ran into someone else I know and had a good chin wag with her.

I am relived it went OK, as I've been worrying about it since yesterday. I think the anxiety blip I experienced on Thursday made me think that this eve would be horrendous. Whereas in fact I enjoyed it.

Feeling perplexed. Mum was just having a go at me, because she wants to move to italy to get away from the foreigners, because where in England can we move to get away from them. Then she went on to blame Labour, then she accused me of not talking about politics because I love wogs. Typical of feminist, socialist types to play the victim and whine about anything.

Your mum sounds less like a typical socialist feminist and more like a typical loopy drunk tbh.

^Yeah that too, but the endless victim playing is very core to both feminism and socialism.

No it isn't.

Wanting equality between people has nothing to do with a victim mentality. I imagine if your mum is a racist then she lacks the ability to view people as fundementaly equal and can't be a feminist.

I would ignore anything she says that involves an opinion. Just smile and nod.

Is it anything in particular? Or is it just everything getting on top of you?
