Re: Chronic sense of worthlessness
Yes. I think the only remedy is literally to brainwash yourself into thinking differently.

Re: Chronic sense of worthlessness
Yep, I'm the same. I have some good days where I've somehow managed to find the positive side of the coin but a lot of the time I seem to be stuck with the negetive side and so feel worthless and useless. The fact that I definitely am a bad person doesn't really help.
^^Mmmm, bit of a negative post that . I should have made a positive one seeing as it is my 600th post. |

Re: Chronic sense of worthlessness
I just feel like a boring, dull and a slightly strange person, and needing to avoid rejection because of these things. I don't think I'm bad though, I'm nice as well as boring dull and slightly strange lol.

Re: Chronic sense of worthlessness
No one is worthless. If someone makes you feel like that then maybe you need to question their motives. Is their behaviour making them feel better? Do you really want to be involved with them? You are who you are and people need to accept that.

Re: Chronic sense of worthlessness
No matter how I feel, the knowledge in my head that I am worthless and will eventually amount to nothing persists, because I know it to be true. Maybe I should change my self-perception, but that may be the way it has to be.
