Default Chronic sense of worthlessness

Anyone else have this? Even when feeling ok as in not badly depressed and unable to function. It's weird.

Yes. I think the only remedy is literally to brainwash yourself into thinking differently.

It's not really about getting things done, it is more like I carry around with me every day the conviction that I am useless and worthless and a bad human being, and am so used to it that I don't question it.

Have you thought about CBT. I found this challenged my perceptions of myself.

Yep, I'm the same. I have some good days where I've somehow managed to find the positive side of the coin but a lot of the time I seem to be stuck with the negetive side and so feel worthless and useless. The fact that I definitely am a bad person doesn't really help.

^^Mmmm, bit of a negative post that . I should have made a positive one seeing as it is my 600th post.

I just feel like a boring, dull and a slightly strange person, and needing to avoid rejection because of these things. I don't think I'm bad though, I'm nice as well as boring dull and slightly strange lol.

part of the black hole that I've been to in the past has been that the world and people, would be better off without me, which is a very worthless feeling, and at some other times clearly untrue.
I'd like to think we are all equally important ! - as human beings no more or less than anybody else.
PM me if you wish.

No one is worthless. If someone makes you feel like that then maybe you need to question their motives. Is their behaviour making them feel better? Do you really want to be involved with them? You are who you are and people need to accept that.

No matter how I feel, the knowledge in my head that I am worthless and will eventually amount to nothing persists, because I know it to be true. Maybe I should change my self-perception, but that may be the way it has to be.
