Default What do you do at weekends?

How do you spend your weekend?

Do you have a routine? Do you go out?

Do you enjoy the weekend?

Whatever I end up doing...usually reading newspaper, watching netflix,

reading book, playing games on my phone....I always feel like I'm wasting it

Whatever I'm doing I always feel guilty about it. That whatever I'm doing

is pointless and i'm just killing time.

I generally work weekends, it started off almost as a reason to explain my lack of socialising or as an excuse not to go out on the rare occasion I got asked if I wanted to do something. Nowadays it's a pain in the arse as I genuinely want to do stuff. One day I'll take the plunge and go for a new job.

I usually stay in weekends, as other people are out. I'd rather do things during the week when other people are at work.

I wash my clothes/bedding, water my plants and spend time in bed not doing a lot.

Go to the gym, watch tv, play computer games and play with my dog. Guilt is so stupid, relaxing is the best thing ever.

Sometimes I do nothing, other times I might visit a friend, spend time with my family, go food shopping.

I have a job which I specifically chose to work on the weekends but it's particularly a lonely option as for social weekend is the days to be.

I go out very very rarely but I usually spend it all half asleep

Relax, play video games and try not to worry about work!

Don't socialise much anymore, normally can't be bothered and so people have stopped asking as much.

Long country walks, preferably somewhere between 5-7 miles float my boat at weekends. I'm lucky to have a friend who enjoys walking as much as me so we walk together, although finding things to talk about can sometimes be a bit of an effort. If he is unavailable then I think nothing to getting out on my own and I don't have to worry about conversation. My county, Leicestershire, has quite a good network of well marked cross country walks, some of the starting points can be reached my public transport. Which is good because neither of us has access to a car. Walking helps clear the head and I generally come back feeling that life isn't all bad.
