Why did I just hear my uncle opening a can of Stella at 10:47am? I'm sure I'm adopted.

I am thinking the younger generation behind me is better than mine at tacking social anxiety. London meet-ups on social anxiety have often 40+ attendees. They are really going for it. I think the future is in bright hands, people will find a way, but I worry I myself am part of the lost generation (pulls out weepy violin ). Actually that is not true. There are always people who have shown the way. I am just feeling sorry for myself because I am threatened by the courageous

Everything. I'm thinking about everything. My mind is on a mad think-a-thon, as you can tell by the frequency of my posts right now. Usually it's in slug mode.

I'm at a leisure centre waiting while my daughter is doing two hours of gymnastics and I'm wondering the etiquette of of using its sockets to charge my phone.

Did you budget for that? At least the wiper issue is a quick cheap fix.

Mine has some rusting around the wheel arches. I'll get rid of it before rust becomes an issue, it does it's job and i'm not fussed about car image anyway.

I haven't maxed out my credit card yet if that's what you mean

They told me £120 today so that's better than I anticipated.

Haha, i was just wondering whether it 'hurt' or not, but then you've been cutting down on takeaways so you must have a little stashed for a rainy day

I need a job that suits my temperament but what job is that. Recently I go home and focus on music production so actually don’t really want to speak with anyone and just focus on production. I have always loved doing things that require detail.

At my job I quit as a temp but the replacement left on 3 days as the job was too hard for his middle aged body. So as a permanent employee, 8 months temp and 1 month permanent I feel an obligation to stay there but I recently notice the stressful environment, not the work itself, can make it harder for me to sleep, make me feel worn out. So I feel if I left the job for something better suited to me it would be the best thing for me. Though it wouldn’t for the company and I might, will probably, burn bridges. Feel guilty for the head chef although tbh I have learnt recently I can’t really be responsible for other people’s problems.

The person I work with seems to have maybe caused an employee that I don’t know to ruin his career. By getting to the best of him to the point he did something to land him in court. I notice she recently seems to be trying to get to me in subtle ways but I’m staying aware of her behaviour.

It was a huge mistake to let her persuade me into taking this job. I guess it’s a life lesson as in my previous job a woman, who was also manipulative, persuaded me to go college. And I didn’t complete college.

Yeah I need to get out of my job. Probably a job where I work more by myself, I’m actually put off from being a truck driver after seeing a picture of how truck driving lead to a man having wrinkled skin on one side of his face due to sun exposure.

I'm seriously liking the new iphone update.

I've gone with the dark setting and it is great. Apart from Instagram looks peculiar in black.

I'm thinking how expensive rental properties are!
A 1 bed flat/apartment near me is anything from £500 to over £700 a month!
I don't even earn that most months

Bugger. Forgot to buy tea bags.

Also I need to give my house a massive clean and sorting out. I feel guilty about throwing so much away though - obviously I'll donate all the good stuff but there's so much crap that I'll have no choice to fill bin bags. Eek.

Thinking about getting a second job. I'm in the mood for some manual work, maybe doing warehouse work over the festive period.

When I was younger I used to be able to break my free time up quite well.

I'd go on a game for 2hrs, get a snack, watch a film, walk the dog..do a spot of tidying up, then maybe another hour or so on a game.

These days I seem to be very extreme with things. I'll put off watching a series for months but when I start it I'll binge the whole thing in 1 ridiculously long stint at the expense of other things. Same with games I'm either not playing them at all..or I'm on them as much as possible until I complete them.

I really don't like it, I need to get some sort of balance again

Or you could volunteer somewhere if it's not the extra money you're needing.

I had a look last night while I was failing to sleep and found a couple of paid and a volunteer one I'm interested in, so I'll update my cv when I get home and type up a cover letter.

Everything sucks (not really), I live in an estate where I’m misunderstood. Most neighbors seem to not like me or have this notion that I’m somewhat a weirdo that they are ashamed to say hello to me in public.

At work, probably due to anxiety and the fact that I’m a kitchen porter, some people at the office treat me like I must have special needs or with a lack of respect.

It probably depends where you are at the time. If you're in the cinema turning round and glaring at them might work, or if it's a child make pointed glances at their parent. If you're at home then shouting might be required, I think. "Stop kicking my chair or I will send you to your room!"

Last month it was discovered that one of my cats has luxating patellas (her kneecaps occasionally slip out of place). I'd always thought she walked a bit funny, but it was only diagnosed when I took her to see the vet after she started limping last month (I think she jumped down from a high place and hurt herself). Apparently it's quite rare in cats. The limping got better after medicine and now she's back to normal, but the vet said she should probably be operated on at some point to fix both knees, although she's left it up to me if/when that happens. The vet said if she doesn't have the operation she'll get arthritis because of the kneecaps rubbing against the bones the way they do, but if she does have the operation she'll get arthritis there anyway because the operation involves grinding away some of the bone. So both options are equal there. The cat is only 18 months old, so she's hopefully got a lot of life left in her to enjoy improved knees, but each leg would be a separate operation requiring her to live trapped in a dog cage for 6-8 weeks afterwards, and then she'd have to relearn how to walk properly. They said the condition doesn't cause her pain, it's just uncomfortable whenever the knees slip. She seems to understand that she can't jump too far, so just avoids doing it. I don't know if having the operations would make her change that. I just don't know what to do I'm not sure if it's worth putting her through two operations when she's always seemed happy enough how she is.
