I cancelled my Dentist appointment for today, but it was only going to be a filling anyway - nothing to get excited about

Hmm, I’m wondering how Toxic is getting on?

I was sat waiting for my car to be MOTed as I posted, alas it failed, but nothing that I didn't already know about so now all I have to do is fix it

Aggh my alarm went off at 5.30 and I must have switched it off in my sleep. I woke up went to the loo and after sleepily considering the sunlight flooding through the window I suddenly thought - this is definitely not 5.30!! Have had to txt voluntary place saying I have car trouble. Ordinarily I could just rock up a bit late but I was going in early so I could get to counselling for 10.30. Need to leave for that at 9.30 ish so no chance of doing the cats.

I wish I could have normal sleep. I'm either wide awake or comatose.

^ Hope your depression passes soon D

I dreamt of Paul O***8217;Grady last night. Why he was in my dream, god only knows. He seems like a nice man though - I mean he likes animals - so I guess it could have been a lot worse.

I'm gonna go to a meetup later, already scared and bricking it, I looked at previous meets and everyone going has already met each other! I'll probably mess it up and retreat from society in fear again

My son and his mates are really into Fortnite. Can’t say I see the appeal myself

^^&^^^
I did! I went along, three women and one guy turned up, spent 4 and a half hours in their company! It was a vegan thing, just a meal and quiz, actually managed to eat in front of people too. Cracked jokes and made people laugh. And we won the quiz, I actually answered lots of question and thought up some answers that required you to work it out, (normally I go brain dead, just totally foggy in my head) so it was really good. Sat next to an American girl my age though and the difference in life experience... night and day but managed to keep the conversation off me. There is another thing on sunday at the same place but it doesn't seem the same, like it's got a vegan carvery and whilst the group is there it doesn't seem to be 'formal' so bit worried i'll turn up and just end up sat alone. Can't decide whether to go to that one. Don't want to turn up and try interjecting myself into conversations.
But considering how nervous I was and that I've never done anything like that before genuinely really proud of myself. Makes me want to go to more, kinda gives me a bit of hope as well that if I do put myself out there the ''real'' jd90 can come forward and I can make friends again. Looking forward to the next ones, even volunteered to make burgers at one! So yeah overall it was a huge confidence boost.

Wondering why my brain refuses to learn how to spell cousin. It's really not that difficult a word and I have a metric **** ton of them. Just read something where I'd spelt it "couison", wtf.

^ heh, I messed up writing my Dad's name earlier; it's Keith, I usually have to write it down to check if it's Keith or Kieth but I did that and still managed to write the wrong one on his birthday card! Well done me!

hope he didn't mind! There's some names that always get me too, like Michael I'm a bit iffy on the a and the e, but Nicolas (Nicholous?!) causes me no end of trouble for some reason.

Just earwigged an interesting conversation

We all get a letter the s'morning (the residents of my road that have the same landlord) saying that there had been reports of drug dealing outside some flats (I don't think my block but one a little further up). Police have been informed and if anyone is caught and charged this may be breach of tenancy etc.

My downstairs neighbour (the lady not the ratbag) came upstairs to hand a letter that had been mis delivered by the postie to my next door neighbour and they were discussing it. They were also saying how they had both reported the downstairs neighbour for drugs to the police and the landlord (who both said there is nothing they can do about it using is the not same as dealing etc *eyeroll*). The downstairs neighbour has also told the landlord she thinks their growing drugs in there (I've suspected this too). Nothing of course is being done as yet. However this makes me a lot more comfortable about complaining about the noise as I may get back up from the neighbours. It also makes me (maybe wrongly and over optimistically) that at some point down the line he may get evicted. He's bound to do something stupid at some point. Or end up in jail. I have to say I've run out of any sympathy I might of had for him a long time ago.

How much Albert Finney in Saturday Night and Sunday Morning reminded me of our Miggs the Terrible. Looks-wise I mean, not the boozing adulterer thing.
