Hi -- new to this particular forum

Hi everyone -- my name's Liz. I wanted to join a friendly & supportive MH forum specifically for people with social anxiety, and this looks like it.

I'm 25 and have been very isolated with severe social phobia, agoraphobia and depression for a long time. I'm making the biggest push I ever have to try and get better, though it's hard because I have no friends at all anymore and my partner and best (and only) friend of 7 years left me a couple of months ago. I'm trying to find my personality again, trying to reach out (just online at first) to make some new friends, I'm starting a psychology degree with The Open University this year and have trained as a proofreader to try and get some freelance work from home in the meantime (not very exciting, but work from home with essentially no human contact is completely vital at this point!)

Anyway, hope to speak to some of you soon. Has anyone braved The Poltergeist remake yet?

I was going to set myself a task to get to the cinema to see it but it's likely to be 100% not worth it haha.
