Do you feel you are really jealous or intimidated
I find I am. It’s usually with people I get a bit close to. Like when I first saw my relatives through the internet I was threatened or jealous that I may be inferior to them in certain ways such as height, athleticism, looks, social status. It’s less now but still there.
With people I have really liked or had a crush on I can easily feel intimidated by them by feeling I lack in an area that they don’t lack. I know it’s not healthy or rational. I think it’s cause I don’t feel good enough as a person or haven’t accepted myself enough. |

Re: Do you feel you are really jealous or intimidated
^^Like many of us, it does sound like you'd benefit from working on your self-esteem or self-acceptance.
Having said that, I think being intimidated by someone we're attracted to is a normalthing, if you look at all the films and literature. Isn't it what the term "being out of my league" is all about? Not feeling good enough for that person, in looks, in social standing, in intelligence, etc. I am definitely like that. |

Re: Do you feel you are really jealous or intimidated
I used to get jealous an awful lot,
I think it stems from possesiveness. I think it's from a desire to control or dominate, Maybe it's coming from having lack of control in your own life? |
