Default Window of Tolerance

A few videos have popped up that mention the window of tolerance.

This video on the topic explain it well (sorry, you'll have to watch it by clicking the 'Watch on YouTube" link that takes you to YouTube):

I also love an infographic:

I could relate to a lot of it as in the past I would tend to be in a state of hypoarousal, which resulted in selective mutism and depression. I have also been at the other end with anxiety and panic.

Does this resonate with anyone else? I'd be interested to read your thoughts

So is that pretty much saying- expand your comfort zone then you expand your window of tolerance?

I definitely find it hard to keep schtum in certain situations,
I'm finding work very frustrating and triggering these days,.
Everyone seems so lazy and incompetent, it's driving me crazy,
Wish I could reign it in and get some sense of distance from it all,
As I'm sure it all ultimately doesn't really matter?
