One problem with this from memory is that they are counted as savings in your benefit calculations unlike pensions, so might be better to just pay heavily into a pension instead.
This NEST thing, I work at the tightest place possible so everything we do/pay in is the bare minimum, I think its going to 5% in April and employer top up of like 3%..its something pitful like 1k-1500 a year, I don't know I havent worked it out on the new rate maybe its more. I do wonder if this money I'm losing would be better elsewhere as NEST sounds "ok" that I might have 300 grand if I make it to 70 but knowing my luck I won't or I'll snuff it before spending a tenth of it and the bastards will get it all back as I'll have no one to leave it to. Maybe I'd be better going into a private one.

I find the whole saving for pensions in your 20's (I wish I was in my 20's) a bit eager, christ people have barely started working and your already told to prepare for the day you can stop working.

I should probably start being a bit more sensible with money though, I keep buying tat to try and cheer me up, it only lasts a few minutes so whats the point

Booking a doctors appointment, I feel tired, hungry most of the time and a bit down, I'm wondering if it could be anxiety related.

^ My heating's a bit rubbish too here, at least downstairs. I can have it on and barely feel it. I wish the radiator wasn't on the other side of the room, right under the window and next to the front door, which is a dead sensible place to put your heat source.

There are a few reasons why radiators are usually fitted below windows, primarily because as the cold air from the window drops down over the radiator it is warmed and creates a convection current which actually pushes the warm air out into the room and also the space beneath a window is unlikely to have furniture in it.

^^ Pretty sure it's a new series. I'm guessing he came back? He was in last week's one too. (I haven't watched it much recently, so didn't know he'd properly gone.)
