Wow! Some of the other Star Trek films were utterly appalling though! But you still gave this one 7/10?!? |

Moon
8.5 outta 10. Really got stuck into this one and I'm on IMDB reading up on what others made of it. |

Teeth 5/10
For a film about a girl with teeth in her vagina, it was actually very entertaining, but I don't think it's one I'll be adding to my dvd collection. |

Re: Rate the last film you watched..
The other day my husband got what initially he thought was '2012' on dvd from Tesco's. It turned out to be a 'Christian' film. Obviously designed to encourage faith. We watched it and I must admit I found it hilarious for all the wrong reasons. In one part it was snowing and no snow was landing on the actor and actress' hair.
Absolutely terrible but kind of funny.. I don't think I can seriously give it a rating. |

There are at least 2 sequels that I am aware of! Part 2 is really weird because it loads of the same cast playing similar, but sometimes reversed roles! Part3 is just random! |

Re: Rate the last film you watched..
Bram Stoker's Dracula
Seen it a couple of times before but this was the first time I gave it my full attention and really paid attention to the plot. Very gothic film. It seemed a bit on the artsy side at times and there were parts where I was left wondering if large chunks had been cut out of the film. Like first off Dracula's this old fugky guy living in his castle in Romania or wherever, and then suddenly he's turning up in London as this young dude like prince, making moves on Keanu Reeves's bird and what have you, and I'm like, did I miss something?!! Anyway, despite this, it was a pretty entertaining film - 8/10 |

Nathalie 6/10.
French psychological drama. Recently been remade as 'Chloe'. Leaves you with questions but not as thought provoking as it perhaps should have been. |

Bundy: A legacy of evil.
I have a very strong interest/borderline obsession with serial killers, and Ted Bundy has always been my favourite one (should you have a favourite serial killer)? Either way, for these reasons I quite enjoyed this film. Made me develop a little bit of empathy for him if I’m honest. I got rather angry at the end when they executed him though, ‘Hi Ted, killing people is wrong, to prove this, we are going to kill you.’ 9/10 |

The Golden Compass 6/10
It was a wee bit flat compared to the book, but I thought it was really good compared to all the bad reviews I'd heard about it. |

Part three is alright and has Mindy Clark in it, (all grunged up, no less) which in itself is redeeming : )

Re: Rate the last film you watched..
I don't want to be born (1975)
Unbelievable tosh concerning an oversized baby being possessed by a malicious dwarf. Yes, that really is the plot. I'd love to see this remade by the League of Gentlemen but I doubt they could make it funnier or more bizarre. This infant pushes people to their deaths, lynches his 'father' (played by Ralph Bates with a strange Italian/scottish hybrid accent) decapitates Donald Pleasance with a shovel and has enough strength to drag his victims out of sight. Laughable dialogue and some strange accents, including one English actress being dubbed by another one, plus some comical 'special' effects make this entertaining for all the wrong reasons. Oddest of all is how so many top notch actors got involved with this drivel which could hardly have looked good even in script form. The scene where Joan Collins is touched up by a dwarf has got to be one of the most ludicrous scenes ever committed to celluloid. Hard to rate but 0/10 as horror and probably 6/10 for entertainment. As it happens I saw this just after Death Wish 3, so obviously there was a 'so bad its good' theme that evening. |

Poltergeist 2 : The Other Side - Pretty guff sequel to the fun original. Has it's moments, but for the most part is a jumbled mess that can't make up it's mind if it wants to be serious or incredibly cheesy. 5/10

Re: Rate the last film you watched..
I saw The Orphanage last night and thought it was pretty good. It's a Spanish film and is directed by Guillermo Del Toro who directed both Pans Labyrinth and Hell boy. The film is pretty creepy and sad, but is so well acted and is beautiful to watch. I'd recommend it
