What was you thinking the first time you heard a particular song

Idk, if anyone else would be interested in sharing but I will share.

I listened to this first around 2009 or 2010, on a cold , cloudy, spring day, I think. It was around the time I was doing my GCSE's. I was thinking of the chilly weather and a few girls in my year who had just came from different European countries.

With this song I was thinking of the trendy, arty, should I say hipsterish college student. My old sixth form college, although it wasn't pleasant you did get some of those students that like arty and trendy.

With this song and the one above I was thinking of the word refined.I found the lyric and melody combo weird as well but this has grown so much on me.
