I'm Ryan. I had an account on here some years ago, I didn't make many posts though. I'm trying to get myself back out there after being pretty much housebound for 6 years. I should be starting a new job on the 23rd of August. Figured I would sign up as it will probably come in useful at some point and will also be nice to share and hear stories with other people.

Thanks for the replies guys. I wouldn't label myself as a success story AT ALL. I mean, I've only had an induction day, my first full shift is tonight (which I'm beyond dreading). I have a strong feeling I'll end up packing it in within a matter of days... who knows. Ahh!!! SA is such a curse -_-
I just got lucky applying for a job, I don't think I stood out... I mean, It's Amazon... they'll hire pretty much anybody. I'll be doing a 10 hour shift starting at 7pm ughh

Oh! and get this. In my induction day(yesterday) We had to stand up in front of a room full of peope and introduce ourselves. Why we want to work at Amazon, our name, a "peculiar" fact about us ETc... You guys can imagine how I felt.
